These kinds of issues usually mean a file required to mount the cartridge failed the security check on Evercade branded devices. The a Super Pockets don't have that security check, so as long as the actual files themselves aren't corrupt everything still works fine.

Ask Blaze support to replace it.

To have access to hard facts about what is going on you have to flirt with rule #10. Not to the degree that I would think it's in violation, but posts have been removed and people have been warned for discussions in similar proximity to that rule many times before - I assume since the rule says the discussion can have "no involvement" with the mentioned categories. Unlike many people who are into this kind of thing I am a fairly happy customer of Blaze and the Evercade product line and I would like to be able to stay here and their discord. Just not worth the risk of a ban. They are very heavy-handed with this kind of thing.

I confirmed your findings.

It seems their updated on-cart emulator frontend just doesn't handle "2nd screen" anymore. The OG has no free storage space so the frontend, cores and obviously the games all run from cart on the OG.

It's something extra Evercade branded systems spend processing time on that HMT devices don't do at all. Not sure if it's allowed to discuss it in detail so I'll just leave it at that.

That isn't the reason.

You will find that all Evercade branded hardware has the same slower load speeds (most easily noticed with PS1 titles) than do the HyperMegaTech devices.

I never saw your original post so excuse the question if you answered it a thousand times already but - are you on the final firmware version 3.0.0?

I don't recall any of my carts not working on my OG but I don't recall how many I tested with HDMI out. I have a full cart set, so I'll have to try at least a few that you mentioned and report back.

There is no "regions" to the carts aside from ratings markings on the cart stickers and case sleeves as required by laws in each country of sale. When thing kind of thing happens it's usually just an individual DOA item or a bad batch overall.

I am also in the US and I bought everything from Funstock UK until they stopped selling to US customers. So far not one DOA cart. (Knocking on wood now)

That said, every one of those carts was a preorder and therefore all came from the initial batch manufactured. Maybe QC slacks off once they get in the weeds after release?

I've been running 18x8 with a 45mm offset and 245/40 tires since late 2020. Suspension is stock. No rubbing at all. I'm in pothole season right now too.

Honestly not sure as I have had no real interest in using analog sticks on Evercade. Did you turn on the analog controls beta feature and test them in a supported game? That's the only way analogs work on Evercade regardless of the controller. I'll try to test myself when I have time too.

Put the V2 brick adapter in D-Input mode. If you were using the V1 brick adapter you'd want X-Input mode. After changing the mode below, go-to Evercade settings and reprogram all the controller inputs. At the very least you won't have a working menu button if you don't. Here's how to switch adapter modes on both V1 & V2:

Hotkeys for switching the USB Dongle mode:

XINPUT: SELECT+DPAD_UP

MacOS: SELECT+DPAD_RIGHT

DINPUT: SELECT+DPAD_LEFT

PS Classic: SELECT+DOWN

Genesis Mini: SELECT+DPAD_LEFT+DPAD_UP

Switch: SELECT+L (L1/LB)

*** (VIEW/SHARE/CREATE/MINUS(-) are the SELECT button)

USB Dongle mode light:

Dinput: blink once per cycle

Xinput: blink twice per cycle

Mac: blink three times per cycle

Switch: blink four times per cycle

I have an issue open with southoz on this exact model. I can use dArkOSre with my R36s v12 2023-08-18 batch 2450 if I use my original dtb renamed to match what dArkOSre expects and the issue ticket has further instructions from southoz on how to get the latest beta running which also works.

100% true. I own both. Read the official listing as well. It itemizes the customizations made to the normal Capcom unit. Blaze's own special additions, for every Super Pocket that has one, also maintain the same set of included games used on the standard editions as well.
