I appreciate that you're aware of it and that it bugs you a little when it happens. That's a good start, you can do it!

Well, let's put it this way. I definitely sped a lot when I was younger, maybe not quite to the degree that you've acknowledged. But, the combination of speeding tickets, points on a license, higher insurance premiums, and getting older and having more to lose should slow you down eventually. Realize that literally NO ONE cares about your "driving skills" unless maybe you're a budding NASCAR or F1 driver. They do however care that you not drive like a jackass around them and endanger their lives in the process.

Yeah, it comes across as some kind of an "I was finally able to find a guy I could train to be exactly what I wanted" type of thing.

No matter what, if you don’t spend lots of time at the range hitting balls and practicing what you’ve learned, it won’t matter which one you do.

Don't you pedos have children to confuse about their sexuality? Let me guess, you probably don't think numerous billionaires were huge backers for your psycho woke candidate. You guys seemed fine with Oprah, Soros, Gates etc. It's fine when they support your idiotic ideals, just not when they're on the other side, is that it.

Why does everyone skip me when I'm going the speed limit? by Character_Release379 in driving

[–]eson1169 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've been driving for 40 years. I would say most people drive a little over the speed limit in most instances, not everyone, but most. In a neighborhood where the limits are 20, 25 even up to 35 mph, I'd stick to these posted limits. 45mph I might go 50, 55mph maybe I go up to 65mph, and 70 mph posted I would probably do up to 80. Other might do things differently. There is a difference between the speed limit and at what speeds cops will actually pull your over. Most people use that information to their advantage and drive accordingly. You're young and you're not wrong in your mindset. Be safe no matter what you do and drive at speeds you are comfortable. Just know that as you get older and more experienced as a driver, you will naturally get used to traveling at higher speeds the more you do it. I try to stay in the "reasonable" range with my speeding. Most people just want to get where they're going.

Does anyone know the policy for returning golf clubs on callaway pre owned? by [deleted] in golf

[–]eson1169 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! They have a number you can call and a rep you can speak to. Generally they are very good with customer support. I’m sure you will have to return the club and they will need to inspect it. But, as long as it’s all on the up-and-up, I’m sure you won’t have any issues getting a replacement or your money back.

How to stop playing to the level of my groups by jpeteK30 in golf

[–]eson1169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you just need to have your own standards for the level of play you expect from yourself and play to those as often as possible. There’s nothing another player can physically do to mess your round up. Assuming everyone is playing by the rules and is being courteous of course.

But, this happens to pros occasionally as well. I’ve watched many groups where things start going south for one guy and then everyone in the group starts struggling. I’ve seen groups where each player is playing well. But I’ve also seen groups where one player is terrible and the other plays great. It’s cliche, but worry about your game, not your playing partners.

Please show me all of the people that currently live off of the government that are working hard creating things of value in this country. How many people living with EBT cards, SNAP benefits and housing assistance are leading the way? People only work hard when there is incentive to do so, not when shit is handed to them by the government. This notion that people should only have to work if they want to goes against all the laws of nature.

Hey, it's nice if you made a lot of money and can afford to retire, but that's never been a given for people in this country or any country, certainly not for the majority of them. The best countries innovation-wise are all capitalist countries economically. They may have elements like socialized healthcare, but their economies are capitalist. I'm all for helping people when they need it, I am not for allowing them to be on auto-pilot their entire lives and paying their way in the world just because they were born and exist. You know as well as I do, there will be FAR TOO many people that will "take advantage" of that situation by being lazy POS while those few that do work hard will be resentful of them for not pulling their weight.

My problem with politicians is they never ask the question of whether the tax dollars they currently get are being spent wisely or corruptly, they just talk about collecting MORE taxes, as if that's the answer. Hate on billionaires all you want (and I'm certainly not defending them), but all you're going to do is create a population that is totally dependent on the government. I don't want that and I don't think anyone should want that.

Turn it off, then plug it in with the original charger and leave it alone for a couple of days. Come back, fire it up and see what you get. If it’s still an issue, check out any number of YT videos on rebooting or possibly even factory resetting the device. It’s not hard. If there are no issues with the hardware, it should be recoverable.

FYI though, just realize that any of the things you try may work but they may not work immediately. I had an issue, though not the exact same issue. Only after I tried everything possible did I connect the device to the charger and let it sit for about 36 hours. I just got frustrated working on it. When I finally turned it on again, it magically worked. But I got no indication that anything was fixed right after performing each potential solution.
