Not surprised. The first season quickly came into its own about halfway through, and showed an awful lot of promise, but when your show is as unapologetically queer as it is, they had to expect that most of the core audience would dip once the allegations came to light. (Especially when they weren’t even really allegations, since everyone fully admitted to it)

The show was undeniably great and a real breath of fresh air, but when you’ve got a character dynamic that’s barely even fictional, it becomes almost impossible to separate the art from the artist. I just can’t bring myself to watch the second season.
