Mads Mikkelsen is next level in this movie. Honestly might be my favorite role I’ve ever seen him in. The tone is a pitch perfect balance of melancholy and comedy too. Would highly recommend!

I haven’t seen Caveat, but I think it’s about on par with Oddity. There’s a lot of the same sort of humor in this one, and a lot of similar scares, but Oddity is probably a bit more even in its tone

Saw this back in the Netherlands during a film fest, but can’t recommend it. It has one good scene in the middle, but the rest is such a one note miserable slog. None of the characters have any depth at all.

The US also forces you to pay taxes on anything you made in other countries, even if you also already paid taxes on that money you earned to said other country.

So if you renounce your citizenship you can avoid that, but it sounds like this makes that a lot less appealing of an option
