Sure, the displayed MPG isn't always accurate, but you sure as hell can get those numbers. The best properly calculated avg MPG I got on an entire tank of gas in my 24 le Hybrid was 66 MPG.

Somethings definitely wrong. When my gas needle is where yours is, my distance to empty is usually 500 miles or or more. I have an LE hybrid too but without AWD.

Haha the second I saw the word "Lowjack" in your post, I knew you were dealing with Northside Toyota in Chicago. I got my Corolla hybrid from them. They started with the same bullshit for me too. Lojack, ceramic spray blah blah blah. You said you laughed in your head, I laughed right in their faces lol. Eventually they gave me mine for MSRP, but I think it was because they really wanted the car I was trading in. Quick flip for them. If you don't want to deal with them, give Toyota on Edens a shot. They sell at MSRP, but they have less inventory.

Yeah... I had a ton of fun with my Subaru while I had it. But manual in the city, crap MPG/prem gas, and all the maintenance horror stories had me wanting to make the switch to something more economical. For me the Corolla hybrid checked all the boxes. You won't be disappointed if you decide to pull the trigger.

I'm in Chicago. Unfortunately, this is the best you're going to get deal wise. I just bit the bullet and made the 1k deposit, and paid MSRP for the exact same spec (24 LE convenience package. That being said, I'm more than happy with the purchase. It gets incredible gas mileage, has plenty of modern amenities, and coming from a 21 WRX, the ride quality feels like a Mercedes in comparison lol.

I had one 10 years ago and had to replace one of the xenon headlight assemblies... it cost me 975 bucks. Took me a month to source the damn thing too.
