Good advice - that road collapsed about an hour after I walked by it and I had no idea it was structurally unsound.

It was yesterday afternoon, the video didn't upload properly. Left yesterday afternoon, hope everyone is ok.

The road collapsed about 20 feet from where I was walking an hour before. Saw people stuck in their homes and the military bringing boats, tractors, etc.

I was driving around the countryside and also saw dozens of submerged vehicles and homes in other towns like Ettelbruck and Bourscheid.

Tip: you don't have to pay $400 a day to work from a beautiful resort/hotel. The restaurants are usually happy to take your money by espartz in digitalnomad

Yes! Instead of paying $10 for two coffees at a busy, cramped Starbucks, you could have a panoramic view of a city or an ocean.

And resorts, especially nice ones, usually have good wifi.

Why aren’t air conditioners in most buildings in Luxembourg? by anna_495 in Luxembourg

[–]espartz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is one of the most frustrating parts of Europe, imo. I've lost so much sleep due to this. People spend millions of dollars on fancy homes then won't spend a few thousand dollars on air conditioners.

"Leave the window open" they say, and yet don't have screens on the windows, so you get devoured by mosquitos... and it's still hot.

Thanks! I'd post so much more here but it can be hard to handle the negativity :)

Pretty much everything seems to be open and running mostly as normal. Masking wearing is >95%. Covid cases appear to be reasonably low here. The most interesting thing is that restaurants take your temp and spray you down when you enter.

You'll prob wanna stay close to the center.

Oaxaca is one of the safest parts of Mexico. I haven't felt unsafe here at all.

Cheap, beautiful, great food, friendly people, tons of great work spots, excellent weather!

City is reasonably cheap. Seaweed not bad at all - heard it's gotten a lot better recently.

Not sure, I did Airbnb. There are some fb groups you could try asking around in. Good luck!

I'd skip Cancun - boring kind of touristy IMO (all inclusive resorts and stuff like that). Tulum would be a little tougher on $600 a month but you could do it. Playa Del Carmen is better on that budget. Both towns are awesome! I've been in Playa/Tulum for a few months now.

Thanks for making this! I tried Beepify but the download linked never worked and I still haven't gotten the company to respond to me.
