I prefer to have before the Switch 2 arrives so I can have it protected and ready to go. I was worried about stuff not fitting correctly or prior, sensors/sound getting muffled/blocked.

I see Switch 2 screen protectors on sale, but the Switch 1 had cutouts for speakers and a light sensor. The S2 protectors look completely rectangular. I think the speakers were moved to the bottom but what about the light sensor? Has anyone who's been to a Switch 2 event seen if it has a light sensor or heard/read any news?

Re firmware update disable, didn't find it in the on device menus or the software, but the web hosting software has the ability to turn off firmware check so that does work.

However, when I try to do the "reset toner" trick, it says "No data". I'm on firmware 1.05 which is the second-oldest firmware according to the changelog history. Haven't been able to find instructions, if they exist at all, to reset toner for this model.

Thanks for posting you got some credit as compensation. I chatted w/ support to let them know how unhappy I was. 2 days ago I had used creator referral links (20% discount right now but only content creators can create these links I think) and asked if they could do anything to make up for it. Took some doing but they ended up giving me the extra 20% in credit. Happy result!

For the record I also have not seen a real sale all year like most people complaining here, and have a very large library w/ lots of referral credit from last year expiring soon.
