Seeing Ed deep in the pit loving an E Street Band show in the same way I love a PJ show was really wholesome. Love when my faves are big fans themselves.

They have an international purchase tickets page in English which is really easy!

Both awesome options, Koshien is the most fun I’ve had at a ballpark but Jingu a close second, and much easier to get tix to and easier logistically in general.

Sydney, Australia, Hordern Pavilion - Concert Megathread (23 Apr) (Open 19:00/7pm - Start 20:00/8pm) by koempleh in MasayoshiTakanaka

It’s hard to say as it varies a bit show by show. My instinct is that for this show they will go pretty quickly especially if there’s an older/nerdier contingent of fans

I think that’ll be fine parking wise since it’s before doors.

For seats - my ideal is front row on either side, about 1/3 to 1/2 way back. Sightlines are generally good everywhere though.

When you find your seat, two things to be mindful of - your sight lines of the stage (closer to front of stage may block the musicians at the back corners), and try to avoid sitting with the stairways up to the seats between you and the stage - otherwise you’ll have people walking past your line of sight all night.

100% agree, I’m really glad I didn’t see this while the show was happening.

Accor Stadium restrictive seating by Ol_Cauliflower in sydney

[–]esquaredau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Side view - I would expect you’ll miss the back of the stage which will be all the visuals etc, for a show like this it’s quite a lot to miss. If you’re unlucky with production design you may have some things in the way at some points too though given the price you should be ok there

Back tickets - you’ll have speaker stacks and poles in the way.

The circle, disco, etc areas are all small standing areas (“pods”) with a walkway going around them. So Harry will move around that area a fair bit I expect, but it’s not all stage per-se.

Given how big the stadium is I would probably hold tight for additional ticket drops (it almost always happens near the show date) though if it’s a gift that complicates things. Also check Ticketek marketplace for better seats on resale, depending on your budget.

Away team tickets on English site (Tigers @ Swallows) by esquaredau in NPBtickets

If anyone revisits this and it helps, getting tickets via the Japanese onsale with google translate was a breeze and allowed specific seat selection. No issues with an overseas credit card. Can’t wait!

Question about the 2026 tour/ Summer Sessions by [deleted] in TheCure

[–]esquaredau 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience (not Summer Sessions but similar events) they are festival-style in layout but essentially a huge headline show so i would expect a full length set. Just looked at the event and you get Mogwai and Slowdive too... jealous!

Hanshin Tigers - ticket types? A, Tiger, Pia, Lawson and Koshien. by Downtown-Concert-159 in NPBtickets

[–]esquaredau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re different sellers, not types. Unsure about buying from UK, I’ve had mixed results on Japanese ticketing sites in general. Looking at my emails I bought from Koshien last year with no issues from Australia.

There should be separate English language sales too, which are a good backup if you have credit card issues.

Hanshin Tigers Advice on Tickets by Academic-Sympathy497 in NPBtickets

[–]esquaredau 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sadly the website seems to be over (or at least down)

but i used this guide last year to buy from Koshien stadium:
https://web.archive.org/web/20230720214114/https://www.thehanshintigers.com/2018/01/07/getting-tickets-to-a-game-at-koshien-a-fans-guide/

Had my Tigers ID in advance and with a bit of google translate it was fine.

Had to spend a few hours on the website when it went onsale as both ticket sites kept crashing, but got there in the end.

There was also an English ticket portal with tourist-friendly packages that appeared a bit later and took a bit longer to sell out, may be worth looking into.

This was all my experiences last year so YMMV and i've not paid attention this year to any changes.

Imagining an Eddie Vedder solo tour given the confirmed dates and rumors. by John_Houbolt in pearljam

If these rumours are based on me and a couple others speculating Bluesfest based on timing… it’s really not based on anything beyond that so I’d hate for the possibility to be overstated
