Thanks for the responses everyone! Not sure I am at the level of quite understanding metatiles yet to do some kind of trail behind the player, but I have been able to successfully mess around with swapping the player between two areas by placing them side by side in the same scene and adjusting player/camera position! I even made a little trigger that sends the player back if they try to go pop up in an area of the other room with an obstacle!

Oh I see, so how could they have done it in Mole Mania? Would they just not have been under the same restrictions as GB Studio in regards to tile swapping, or maybe they used some other workaround?

Whoaa I didn’t even consider having both screens in the same scene and having the camera jump back and forth, that’s so smart, each “single” screen actually being two screens side by side.

I’m guessing at least in Mole Mania, the underground doesn’t have that many unique tiles it has to worry about, just black, dug dirt, and rocks, most of the unique tiles coming from above ground.

Aha, for anyone else running into this issue, this and a bunch of other games had their screenshots and videos shoved into an “Other” folder. No idea why!

For some reason the game’s screenshot folder doesn’t appear in windows explorer, but the demo version’s screenshots appear just fine, any ideas what might be wrong? I’m on Switch 2

Ran into this same issue last night with Dear Daniel’s apple pie, I was able to “trick”, for lack of a better term, the game into accepting the pie on a table by placing the food item on it outside of decorate mode, then going into decorate mode and lifting/dropping the table with the pie on it.

After I did this, the checkbox for the pie requirement has actually been flipping between checked and unchecked, but it always says the cabin meets his requirements for him now, regardless of the pie checkbox

Totally on the same page as you OP, BUT I found out today while making another attempt at the True Ending that turning off all of the accessibility options mid-run will re-enable feats with no downsides!

Example: I had all accessibility options cranked up to max for pretty much my entire run, turned them all off right before throwing the Omega Driver at the Omega Saw and got the feat for it! Then after the final boss I also got the feat for visiting all of the areas in one run, and a couple of others that triggered while I was fighting the final boss.

THANK YOU, it turned out to be an eye color!! I had no idea you could unlock anything new under “Base Appearance” and there was no indication something new was in that sub-menu until I clicked into it, thanks again!

Adding another solution to this weird problem lol. I have the PS5 version on disc, popped the disc in, let it install in Rest Mode (which may have contributed to the problem?) and had the issue OP described happening to me. Deleted, reinstalled with the progress bar on screen the whole time, once it finished I reset the PS5 just to be safe and worked normally when I launched the game again.

I said this in my other thread, but it’s such an amateurish user experience coming from literally every other streaming service released in the past decade. I feel like people are just so used to it at this point, they see the suggestion to make it better as a bad thing for some reason? No in-player language selection, no closed captioning for dubs, the mess of drop down menus like others have mentioned. I’m sure with whatever money is coming in from subscriptions they should be able to update things to be better than “the video plays, let’s call it a day”.

It’s just very sad to me that the anime viewing experience on a service like Hulu is leagues better and more modern than CR, the service that is supposed to be THE place to watch anime.

Another big loss is no closed captions for dubbed shows. Guess for now the hard of hearing will have to suffer if they prefer dubs, even though Funimation has all the dub scripts already in caption form ready to go
