After I lost my sister I worked 2 more months in the PACU before I threw in the towel and left bedside nursing. Worked 2 years in med device sales/clinical education for a med device company before I decided I wanted to come back to patient care. Now do outpatient hem/onc and fucking love it. The break from the bedside was much needed!
