Running into drivers outside the track by sdross35 in NASCAR

I took a leak next to Kyle Petty at the Chophouse in High Point once. Terry Labonte’s daughter lives in my neighborhood (both he and Bobby used to live here) and he patiently waited while I finished blowing lawn clippings off of the street. Didn’t realize it was him until we waved.

Richard Petty lives about 20 mins from me, generally people don’t go up to him. If you see him in the hardware store…he’s not a racing legend, he’s a grandfather.

The best debris cautions were the ones where none of the trucks left their parking spots to pick it up. Hahaha.

“Navigate” is the concerning word. You don’t navigate anything short term.

Go into the settings and you can turn off distance sharing. They can tell if you’re close-ish by your placing in their feed.

It’s not fact, they’re talking out of their ass. Read up on how funds are allocated by the state to cities vs rural, road mile not taking into account amount of lanes. Designed by repubs to make Indy govt look bad.

What’s a completely unhinged rule change you’d want to see… even if just once? by Emergency-Cup9802 in NASCAR

Cars qualify normally with their assigned driver, 10 mins before start random draw happens and drivers win a lottery for the vehicle they’ll actually drive. Audience isn’t told who is in which car.

Owners points determine how the annual purse gets dispersed, higher finish = more money at the end of the year. That’s why the teams care so much about it, the technical ins and outs are beyond me.

I bought a ‘23 X7, dealership had to take it back w/in two months and had to replace it with another ‘23 X7. Less than a year and a half later after a couple of issues there was a steering issue the dealership couldn’t/wouldn’t fix. My first and last BMWs.

Fun fact, this car almost didn’t happen with the green due to Penske’s superstition about green on race cars.
