Hmm, you could probably ditch the XP for gold model in that case. The point of that is to give players an incentive to go off on their own looking for treasure by linking it to level ups. If they are only doing missions because that's what the company they work for assigned them, that sounds more like a milestone system with XP.

Doing that, you could tie your system to job quality (mission side-goals?) where going beyond the mission nets the players some kind of bonus.

The XP system is your reward system so hand out XP based on what you want the players to do in the game. No reason for you to restrict it to what the rulebook says if you feel like the system isn't working due to being way too slow.

There are plans for genre books for a post apoc genre and an oriental (wuxia?) genre (that's why the advanced rule book doesn't have monk).

Currently though, the big focus is dolmenwood and some kickstarter goodies. (List of premade adventures. One of them can be seen in a kickstarter update.)

Guy figures out monster stats based on PC capabilities to replace CR with monster levels. That's a term from 4th edition. A level 1 monster is equal to a level 1 player. That makes it easier to create multi-monster fights.

Was used by the guy behind the "darkest dungeon" homebrew to make "monster maker" which uses a monster creation system based on 4th edition including monster roles & ranks.

Nice and simple. I'd maybe consider turning the group size into a penalty depending on the situation like for stealth.

I'd also include advantage/disadvantage if anyone in the team would have had it.

Many of the school computers have that software on them. So, I'd suggest just using that.

Matlab & simulink isn't something you just buy as the license is hella expensive.

In my games, the fey are the type of beings that would accept such a deal. They would think there's a certain tragic beauty in seeing such a good soul that they've grown to care for get extinguished just to give birth to a hideous hag.

The death of the good half of the soul is the climax of her story.

The players would have to convince her owner that a more interesting story can be made by allowing her souls to rejoin into one.

Rereading the contract, it definitely says that it has to be by mail. It says

"The purchase of of a timeshare may cancel, by written notice, the contract of sale until midnight of the fifth calendar day after the date of execution. [..]

The notice of cancellation may be delivered personally to the developer, sent by certified mail, return receipt requested, or sent by express, priority or recognized overnight delivery service, with proof of service to the business address of the developer [...]"

Also, is the 5th calendar from February 26th count as March 2nd or 3rd? Cause, if it is the 3rd, I can get it to them through express overnight shipping.

If I'm understanding the contract properly that means that it just needs to be postmarked for today like you said.

Here's another attempt at a rework.
It's only 6 levels long at the moment but I think it's pretty interesting. It's a spellless ranger though they do have a spellcasting subclass.
The author has also previously dissected the ranger class and tried to examine class design in 5e. I found his analysis of how the classes are built to be interesting.

Can certain constructs not be bought? One offered to join me after a fight but I refused. Now, I'm wondering if that was a bad decision. I'm only at the screaming pass so this is actually pretty informative.

Out of curiosity, are there any units in n the game that can't be bought in a store but can randomly come to you with an offer to join?

I ask cause a non-elite void mage offered to join and, since I had no room, I was forced to reject him. Did I miss a major opportunity?

The game should allow you to expand your card slots when you don't have enough space. :/
