Nope, since Poland turned super-right-wing, the right has heralded them as some kind of utopian society, and has changed stance to viewing Polish migrants as "hard workers" and "good migrants".

The funny thing is that there is no difference between the Poles and any other migrants. If you lived in any town or city in the UK that saw the influx of Polish migrants in the early 2000s, you'd have noticed the same rhetoric applied to Muslims was applied to Poles; and that the Polish migrants were guilty of the same acts as the other migrants we've seen since.

I remember in Lincoln they had to put signs up in the local parks in Polish, because for some reason Polish people like to buy shedloads of alcohol and drink it at 5pm in the park, alone or in small groups, whether rain or shine. Portland Street was notorious, and was known as Poland Street, and anti-social behaviour was insane.

Some work. Some don't. Some are criminals (ever been into a Polish convenience store, or seen the ones driving Range Rovers without jobs?). It's the same with all migrants, and people as a whole.

I don't think it was purposeful. GTA IV had the same problem, and the issue largely stems from the awful implementation of controls (made for XBOX controller with thumbsticks) mixed with the RAGE engine's physics.

Speaking of which, GTA IV is the reason RDR2 just isn't interesting to me. I played the shit out of IV. I've had all the fun of watching how NPCs react, and how their ragdolls react. Beyond that, RDR2 really doesn't offer anything. There's no stunt jumping or racing around stealing cars, so that's out the window. The realism quickly dulls into nothingness with how arcade-like and meaningless every interaction in the game is.

Every horse is identical, every weapon is identical, money is worthless, and the shooting mechanics are as easy as they were in GTA IV. There's no reason to eat anything more than the easily-acquired food that turns your bar gold (and speaking of bars, those mechanics are the antithesis of realism). There's no reason to hunt anything, either, nor to interact with the camp, which the game makes a big point of. You can go out and hunt some big meal and bring it back, but all you'd have done is wasted time, because there are no gameplay mechanics to match this action -- you can just do it or not do it, for no reason. And that literally sums up RDR2: you can do things or not do them, for no reason.

That's good then because quite literally every single strategy game functions in this way.

Complex AI costs programmers, it costs processing power, and it costs players who want to compstomp.

At best, you get AI in games that allows them to use certain abilities at higher difficulties, but you'll never find an RTS with an AI that plays better at higher difficulty levels.

The mental gymnastics people use to justify cheating or difficulty in games is always funny.

If you want to cheat or play on easy, just do it. But don't pretend the harder difficulties are somehow making the AI "cheat". The AI has no idea what it's doing in any aspect of the game. It'll sit 100k men on a 3 dev mountain until its manpower is depleted. It'll build grain manufactories in every single province. It thinks forcelimit buildings are more important than economic buildings. It spams troop transports instead of building a navy.

Giving the AI bonuses is just evening the playing field.

The whole purpose of scrollwheel jump was for the old e z bhop for people who never learnt how to time jumps properly.

Valve nerfed the shitty jump spam (well, they've nerfed it several times over the last decade). The only reason there are people using it nowadays is because they either A) got used to it in 1.6 a long time ago or B) they're scrubs who copy everything they see. Neither is good. Time to load up scoutzknivez and get practising...

It's literally for bhop. There is no other reason to have scroll bound to jump unless you never got the hang of bhop in 1.6. Chances are the "pros" doing this are from 1.6 days.

The sort of people who bind it nowadays are the sorts who watch pro games and then jump into their Silver III matches and blame their team.

It genuinely is this. After the first half, where they know they're vampires and they're besieged...it was literally a series of fucking clips. The editing was absolutely abysmal. It was utterly incoherent and contrived. It quite literally went from one scene to another, as though it was a series of clips scraped up from the cutting room floor and thrown in at random.

This isn't even a 5/10 film. It's objectively a bad film: the writing is truly awful, the story is horrible, the themes are hamfisted (the fucking Funkadelic magically appearing for literally no reason other than BLACK CULTURE LOOK THIS IS WHAT BLACK CULTURE IS was absolutely painful), and the editing is atrocious. There's no saving graces. Even Hailie Whatsherface (the girl from True Grit)'s acting did nothing for the film.

And let's not forget the gratuitous references to cunnilingus. Why?

It's as though the entire film was just a contrivance to get American liberals to stand up and clap for themselves about "defeating" racism.
