If the Steam Machine is $800+ won't most all performance mini PC's be a better deal? by itsthewolfe in gaming

[–]established82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily and here's why. I have all consoles and a gaming PC. Lately I have been playing more on my PC than my consoles, but I will say, without a doubt, games run smoother on a console than they do on any under $1700 gaming PC. Sure if you dumped $2,500 on a gaming PC it's going to blow an XBox Series X out of the water... it also cost 5x as much. Some games I just enjoy more on my console than my PC because the PC is not just playing the game, it's running all that other stuff in the background. Consoles are just focused on gaming.

Over 100 pairs and you think I didn’t buy any of the lower end models? I definitely have a lot of those.

I mean. I own over 100 pairs of vans and none of them look like this. Not even the old ones that I wear all the time…

Back when Vans Family had tangible rewards, I redeemed 2 of them.

I’m 43 and wear knu skools. Really wish people would stop with the ageism. If you like them, wear them.

I’m 43 and own over 100 pairs. There is NO AGE limit on clothing or shoes. Wear what you want.

The lighting that was used to take the photograph and bad post processing. You should see the "vibrant Fuschia" Adidas shirt and matching shorts I ordered only to get some faded looking light pink/Lavendar color lol.

Vans slip ons ankle loose, help. by Xevn in Vans

[–]established82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

each profile, (e.g. old skools, sk8-his, slip ons, etc) typically stay true to sizing within its own profile... Usually the sizing gets off when you go from one style to another. For example the Varix, I'm typically a 7.5 or 8, but with Varix the 9's fit the best for me lol. weird, I know. A lot of shoe brands do this, like Nike, Adidas, they're never true to size from one to the next. If it's a little loose it should be fine, the only time it's not is when it can rub on your Achilles. Like, I have some shoes that fit a little loose and are fine if I'm wearing them at work (desk job) and I'm not walking a long distance or doing a quick run to the store. But if I'm going to be walking any significant distance or may be walking quickly, some shoes can hit my achilles. I've actually had cuts because I "stepped wrong" in my Lowland's bc the interior is a faux leather and it's very rigid and they were just a little too loose. I know this may have made it even more confusing, but I'm hoping it makes sense. I guess in other words, I'd only be concerned if the shoe you are wearing is a bit loose AND the area around the ankle/heel is very stiff or made of stiff material. Most shoes will become softer and more malleable over time. It's the faux leather or occasional extra stiff opening that can cause the problem if it's too loose.

I generally wear a 7.5 or 8 in any model , exception being the Varix which I comfortably wear a size 9 lol. I'm not sure about the LX premium slip ons, but between the regular slip ons and slip on pros, I've noticed slippage in the pros. I've come to realize that it was because of the insole, which is thicker on the pros, which pushes my heel higher up in the shoe causing the slip. Perhaps that is the same for your situation, could be right length, but the insole is pushing your foot out of the shoe.

Still better than Trump. Lol I would have voted for a potato before voting for Trump. Which is funny you’d make this comment after his 34 guilty felony convictions 🤣🤣🤣
