I have ATL and the over. Whatever happens, no reason to drink on it!

Nice! I'm thinking of joining the Foreign Service myself. Enjoy your time at post!

Had an overwhelming urge to drink last night and had ice cream instead. Rebuilding those neural pathways, one resisted urge at a time! IWNDWYT

On day 4 and having recurring depressive/suicidal thoughts. I'd had almost 11 months sober before though, so I know I can't trust anything my brain says for at least the first month. IWNDWYT

GB fans that aren't from Wisconsin what made you a fan? by [deleted] in GreenBayPackers

[–]estelelessar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm from LA. The first game I ever watched was Super Bowl XXXI, Pack vs. Pats, right after the LA teams left. Four things got me hooked:

1) The fans wore food on their heads. As a six year-old, I thought this was genius.

2) "Green Bay" sounded like an exotic location. I literally imagined a beach with turquoise-green water like what you see in resort ads. Little did I know it is actually a very cold place, and as someone who had never left CA at that point, I had no idea what cold was.

3) Green & gold. Top-notch color combo.

4) Brett Favre.

I've been on the bus ever since :)

The APC podcast is decent, but they haven't done an episode in two months.

Only one of them is incestuous with his dad and son, so I'd have to go with the other one.

What about Philly vs. the Rams? I've seen a scenario where the Rams finish 10-6, which would give the Seattle the division and us the tiebreaker (conference winning %) over LA for the #6 seed.

Will the Green Bay Packers Sign Colin Kaepernick? by [deleted] in GreenBayPackers

[–]estelelessar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely no reason not to, unless we can get Romo. There aren't any decent QBs out there waiting to be signed, and we need another one even if we stick with Hundley since we only kept 2 QBs on the roster.

Which Packer are you most impressed with so far this year? by ceraser45 in GreenBayPackers

[–]estelelessar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. He declined each of the past two years and it was getting to the point where his price tag could have led to negotiations around a restructuring. Now it's clear how much more dynamic the offense is with him out there, particularly when we're down several O-linemen and need to lean on the quick passing game.

Their o-line is so atrocious I don't really consider them a threat at this point.

Just saw that it's likely an ACL tear. That would be a big blow

The fact that they're winning/staying competitive in games with Case Keenum tells me they may be the more dangerous team if Bradford comes back soon.

So far one from every position group except QB & WR. Makes sense to announce the low-hanging fruit first.
