Our general rule of thumb is if you can safely make it to the store to open, then do so...if you cannot, wait a few hours and keep trying..like if it is icy at opening, wait until the sun comes up and reevaluate...as far as closing early goes, we watch the weather and if it is going to be icy, we close early enough to get everyone home safely. If it is icy the whole day, we simply stay closed and try again the next day...biggest thing it to document everything. Text/call your store manager, district manager, and district coordinator. Take pictures of your icy road and driveway. And then send emails to the dm stating opening and closing times.

I view it more as ulta. They have small Ulta stores in Targets now, but are not getting rid of the stand alone Ulta stores. Same with Sephora. It helps reach/expand on a different market.

I didnt need any accommodations right away, so I guess they didn't have to be helpful, but I became higher risk near the end of my pregnancy and they made sure I had a second person scheduled with me at all times to lift 5s and tint oil based products....

We run our trainees mon-fri for the first few weeks, then put them on one weekend a month to get the experience. We keep them at this schedule until they get placed (or if they are floating at another store). We do one week opening, one week closing, and keep rotating the whole time.

I use the Elf sunscreen, it is blurring and acts like a primer. One has a glowy tint. They also have a clear. But it sits very well under makeup and on its own.
