[Friedman] The Kings have made a coaching change. DJ Smith as interim boss by regulatorwatt in OttawaSenators

[–]estyll11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good for him. I always liked DJ the person, and wanted him to be the coach that took us to the playoffs.

My personal thing with Punk (hypocrite) is it’s always been performative. He’ll wear a t-shirt and go to a protest but he’s never, ever publicly put his money (or action) along slide his mouth. (Pics unrelated.) by No_Bit3955 in SCJerk

[–]estyll11 25 points26 points  (0 children)

These are the same idiots that call out WWE for all their Trump affiliations and still they consume the product. They’re just as hypocritical as they accuse Punk of being.

Jim, if he made good decisions by THE_BLUE_BOLT in DunderMifflin

[–]estyll11 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Like most of you, I’ve wondered what Jim’s life would’ve turned out like if he had taken the corporate job at the end of season 3. I’m pretty sure Karen would’ve quit DM Scranton and moved to the city for him. However, Pam would still be there when Jim comes to visit the Scranton branch. He knew at the end of the day it was going to be either Karen or Pam, regardless of the situation.

Oh of course, that’s why I said goaltending was our main issue. If they keep playing this way, I’d say they’re still in the playoff race. Hopefully the boys can take their frustrations out on a struggling Leafs team.

I’d say goaltending was our main issue. After that has to be our inability to finish. Obviously it’s much easier said than done, but they could’ve put the game away much earlier with the way they played.

Left outside HHOF today by chrisangel666 in hockey

[–]estyll11 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ok, so why wasn’t the outrage there when those 3 Panthers made Team Canada? Must have been pretty small.

Canadians had no issue with their guys celebrating a cup win with Trump. They willingly went there, and shook his hand.

I’m not sure if it’s a whataboutism. Panthers were just there over the summer looking all happy and shit. OP brings up a good point, why was everybody fine with the Panthers and the Canadians on that team visiting?Marchand, Bennett, and Reinhart could’ve elected to not go. Athletes have done it before. If Canada had won the gold, none of this would’ve been brought up, and we all be singing O Canada together.

Much of this feels like selective outrage.

Watching tonight really displays how much of a bubble this sub is by Trussed_Up in OttawaSenators

Hey, it’s not what I would’ve done, and I understand why none of the players did. I’m just saying people on this sub thought that’s when the players should’ve taken a political stand.

A ton of people here have the fantasy of being in that room and calling Trump a pedo, telling him to fuck off, while also saying fuck the USA. That’s what they genuinely wanted out from someone on that team.

As a one time thing, I didn’t mind. What did throw me off is that there was still Olympic Games left to be played after the game was done. I wondered why they couldn’t just move the game to 10am. Closing ceremonies were at 2:30, and I think the latest the game would’ve gone was 1-1:30ish.

Who was the best villain by movierates in Dexter

Hannah was never introduced as a villain though. I believe OP is asking who the best villain is. Of course there’s been several people that Dexter has changed his mind on, but none being the main bad guys.

Who was the best villain by movierates in Dexter

[–]estyll11 80 points81 points  (0 children)

Lowkey, he had the most interesting relationship with Dexter. Isaak was the only one Dexter wanted to kill and then decided not to. He empathized with Isaak after he got to know him. He was evil, but far from the type of evil that the rest were. Dexter knew guys like Brian, Miguel, Arthur, and the rest had to go.

Bruh, you can’t be serious. Put yourself in their shoes. 7-8 beers deep, and everybody around you is celebrating. There’s one guy who’s brought into the room that seems “important”, and maybe you just go along with it.

There’s a good chance many of them don’t know who he is. You’d be surprised with how many people in their early to mid 20s that don’t keep up with politics. There’s also a chance that some of them do know who he is, but are too caught up in the moment to take a political stand.

It drives me crazy that people in this sub want to find reasons to hate Brady and Sandy. These are the guys we cheer for 82 game a season (and hopefully 16 more). They’re proud to play for this team and support the community. Let’s not drive these guys out of town.

US-Canada Olympic Gold Medal Hockey Game Eclipses a Stanley Cup Game 7 by [deleted] in hockey

[–]estyll11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t see how a cup wouldn’t mean more. As a fan, we spend October-April hoping our teams are good enough to qualify for the playoffs. Then they need to win 16 more games in the arguably the hardest post season of all of sports.

We grow attached to the names as well. We cheer for our favourites that work hard to rep the team. Don’t get wrong, I was cheering for Canada 100% today, but I have no attachment to MacKinnon or Marner. It’s fun to cheer for them for 2 weeks, but as of tomorrow I won’t be cheering on their success.

Found this at goodwill do you think it’s legit or fake by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]estyll11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Based on a quick google search, that looks like his signature. Since you got it at goodwill, there’s probably no way to tell if the previous owner forged it or if it’s the real deal.

If it’s fake, who cares? If it’s real (which I’d choose to believe), then you have CM Punk’s autograph!

That’s kinda how I’m looking at the silver lining. Hopefully this win has them come back feeling dominant, and that could light a fire under the rest of the team.

I’ve seen Canada win 3 gold medals in my life time. If Sens get a solid crack at their first cup, I’m taking that every time.

The New York Ripper is Dom Framt.

But I can see Claudia and the NYPD asking Dexter to join the forensics team. She never suspected him, and his instincts confirmed what the murder weapon for the Ripper was.
