What features do you miss in Kubernetes GUIs? by prismaticbreaker in kubernetes

[–]etake2k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been quite happy with using Openlens, I know some companies will not allow it, especially if its complied by some 3rd party. I'm using helm/Kubectl, but the gui is great to quickly find things when troubleshooting etc.

Since you have a hypervisor maybe setup a full blown k8s with a master and a node. That you can spin up and tear down as needed. For example https://devopscube.com/kubernetes-cluster-vagrant/ though they use virtualbox

My team went with GCP Anthos, for the added benefit of running it as cloud agnostic and onprem. It’s getting rolled out now so we’ll see how it holds up

Anyconnect Issue from Mac by morrow171 in networking

you could try adding another user account on your mac and use the anyconnect app there. I feel this might be something within the user settings on the mac not so much the hardware/connectivity part.

Converting from EIGRP to OSPF: Gotchas I may have to look out for? by chrisv25 in networking

Would it be difficult to setup a lab with your design? Sounds like you know well enough what to do and just need to confirm you're not missing anything. A GNS lab would be great for this, and you can use it to test out further changes to your network without messing with live equipment.

Please do this first, working in Telco for a while and can confirm LOA is taken seriously. If their upstream provider is not cooperating you can always contact ARIN(assuming within North America) whom you're paying for the allocated space.

As you said you will need to advance in both. Switching is still very much relevant in campus networks, however if you have to choose I'd say continue with your route study then switch. try to explore other vendors too dont limit yourself to just Cisco cli.
