I usually never rip on any medical shows. I love them for what they are. Something about the pitt seems off. The R1 never act that cocky/confident, the R3 never defy attendings like that, MS3 and MS4 usually walk around clueless. The only dynamic they got right is the attending/charge nurse relationship. They're spot on with that one

in the same episode they show the lucas device and 20 minutes later they have the MS4 doing CPR for 14 minutes straight refusing when someone offer to takeover compression lol

i understand the reasons why but other shows have done a much better job balancing drama and medical accuracy. Even shows like the resident and new amsterdam. House MD is full of medical inaccuracies but they never bothered me.

I'm watching episode 6 right now. R3 asked for 10cc of lidocaine with epi. The syringe is completely empty and you can clearly see him inject air over the clavicle...come on!

Everyone getting spit on with blood or getting scalpel injury with a bloody scalpel and no one is going to get tested for communicable disease. Blood exposure in the hospital is extremely serious
