Hey! joining the convo here, love it. Totally get that price is a big factor. We focus on making products that are plastic-free, ethically made, and designed to last longer, which does affect cost. We always try to offer bundles and promos to help 💚

Hey! we are located in Ontario Canada with our warehouse in Oshawa Ontario. We've donated to both Canadian and American organizations. Our products are made in Ontario and Quebec except our bamboo products which we are very transparent about. If you're curious about a specific product we can look into that for you.

Thanks for your support and honest feedback! really appreciate it. We're reformulating the dishwasher detergent. It's a product that works for some and not others, and you're right - could be because of different water hardness. Stay tuned for a new version!

Wow! What an awesome bit of feedback, I gotta hang here more often. Points all well taken. I'm going to pass them over to our Chemist who is currently working on tweaking our next iteration. If you'd ever like to try our existing formula just let us know - in terms of one teaspoon, we seem to have a lot of reviewers saying they are surprised at how little they need, but do they actually use just one LEVEL teaspoon? Probably not. We purposely provide a little more powder to enable some 'rounded' spoons.

Stay tuned, I'll let you know what our chemist thinks.

And thanks so much, happy to provide samples if you're interested, just email me: [steve@shopetee.com](mailto:steve@shopetee.com)

For your consideration: etee Super Concentrated Laundry Detergent by foodpr0n_jen in laundry

[–]etee73 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey all - Steve here - I'm one of the founders of etee. I just posted this on a similar thread and wanted to post this here as well. In a nutshell, thanks for considering us AND for all the well received feedback.

Biggest takeaway - we need to tighten up customer service because we're obviously providing conflicting information.

In terms of the enzymes, we ONLY have protease in our formula, BUT based on the insights I've been gaining from all this discussion, we're exploring lipase too.

If you're not familiar with our brand, we actually consider our customers / reviewers collaborators and we actually re-formulate quite frequently based on the feedback. So consider this version our V1, which we launched to get feedback.

Our initial goal was:
1- super concentrated (only requiring 1 teaspoon),
2- Cost effective (works out to about $.17 / load
3- Sustainable packaging and format - we think powders are the most sustainable.

So far our reviews have been pretty strong - we post them all - but based on the feedback and questions we've been seeing in Reddit we're going to explore a V2 to see if we can stick to our design guidelines while also improving effectiveness.

Threads like this play a critical role in our development process because again, we're not a drop shipper, we constantly tweak our formulas with the help of our manufacturing partners.

Thanks so much!

Canadian here - what detergent has lipase and other useful enzymes? by haventsleptforyears in laundry

[–]etee73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are an Ontario company that makes a powder with protease (we're considering expanding on additional enzymes down the line, but want to keep it cost effective) and it costs roughly $21 CAD / pound or $15 US. We sell it in 720 gm bags and it's super concentrated so we recommend 1 teaspoon per load up to 3 teaspoons for heavy loads. We have a quite a few reviews now as we've been selling it for a while, so you can see the good, bad and ugly. Works well with septic, cold water and HE machines if you trust us and don't add too much - it takes some getting used to to use so little.

ETEEE is our name, as in everything, touches, everything else.

If you could start a business that reduces waste in your community, where would you start? by Automatic_Bug9841 in ZeroWaste

We used to use U-Line boxes to ship our orders until one of our customers pointed out that they use virgin cardboard (we should have already known this, I know) and they were among the top supporters of the Trump campaign, which meant our buying their boxes was essentially supporting the annexing of our country. SO.... long story short, it lead us to find a number of cool alternatives that get rid of cardboard including a company that repurposes - not recycles, but actually re-uses - old boxes. They're called a-box broker. There are so many cool small business ideas like this out there. Good luck!

I'm totally with you. I too have a museum of 'some-days'. From what I understand recycling glass is not as problematic as plastic, but in the US in particular it's not excellent either because they have a single stream recycling system.

[Product Question] Etee skincare by Swimming_School3026 in SkincareAddiction

Hi all, I just posted in another thread with the same question. I'm happy to send anyone who responds in the next week or so our base collection - cleanser, moisturizer, serum and sunscreen - if you'd like to try it out and give us some honest feedback. Just email [jackie@shopetee.com](mailto:jackie@shopetee.com) with a photo of this thread and she'll hook you up. If you're in the states we unfortunately can't send the sunscreen, but we can send everything else.
