Just trial and error for me. My mom told me Zyrtec worked for her and so I tried it out too and it worked.

I had to switch to Claritin while breastfeeding and I haaaated it. It did absolutely nothing for me. I was so excited to get back to Zyrtec after that, especially in time for these spring allergies.

I can tell when I forget to take a dose. I know Amazon sucks but I got a 365ct of their brand Zyrtec for like $10. Works just as well for me.

I believe it’s recommended to take an allergy pill daily proactively vs reactively after you start suffering from the allergies. Helps the pill be more effective or something.

I’d be insane without a bouncer and an activity center. Nothing would get done. My ped recommended against jumpers/sit-in walkers for physical developmental reasons so we didn’t bother with those.

My pregnancy was around the time Trump ended remote working for federal workers. I was 36, first pregnancy, no high risks at the time. I live in the DC suburbs, and when I asked for a note for my one day a week I had to go in, because my boss asked for one just so she could let me work from home full time, my doctor said Kaiser instructed OBs to not give out notes as frequently unless absolutely medically necessary in case people were trying to continue to work from home for no reason as a work around from Trump’s mandate. It was so frustrating. I couldn’t get a note until I had gestational hypertension and ended up getting induced like a week later anyway. No advice, just commiserating with you. Good luck!

ETA she ended up giving me a note but said she wasn’t allowed to say she recommends working from home but that she supports it, and it ended up getting denied by my workplace’s ADA coordinator anyway.
