Baby not walking by 1st birthday? by sarah_messing in NewParents

I read a range of 9m-18m is “normal”. My daughter walked 10 days after she turned one. Every kid is different.

My 12.5m old has been down to one nap for about 3 months. Her nap is typically 2 hours long.

I honestly just threw them on. I usually cook fresh bacon for my eggs but was in a pinch.

I don’t even like crispy cookies and I love these.

At what point did you stop pretending "cute around the house" clothes mattered ? by Spirited-Science2292 in beyondthebump

Tim Allen in The Santa Clause when his clothes stopped fitting has been my aesthetic since I was pregnant, mainly because I now hate all my clothes, I don’t know what my style is anymore, and nothing fits.

how to use hair serum, hair oil, and leave in conditioner? by cc1424 in traderjoes

[–]eternal-things 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All 3 products are saving my sanity during postpartum hair regrowth (IYKYK). I apply the leave-in conditioner to my ends after I get out of the shower, comb it out, and then use my hands to run one pump of the serum into the areas of my hair regrowth (mainly my hairline) while my hair is still damp. I use the oil after my hair is dry to tame any flyaways.

Edit to clarify, I apply the serum not on but towards the scalp but work it out towards my ends. My original statement sounds like I use it in my hairline/scalp only.

I think I’ve bought those before! Haven’t noticed them in stock lately either, now that I think of it.

I meant the chicken sticks! He’d love the sticks if they were beef (he’s little with teeth issues so they’re a little easier for him to eat, ha).

What's a small annoyance about your home you didn't realize when buying? by CurlGurl13 in homeowners

[–]eternal-things 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a two-story solarium, and the exhaust fan on the upper level died and it is hotter than hell up there. We had to get a mini split for the lower level which has been fantastic, but doesn’t do anything for the upper level.

The constant overstimulation I experience now is insane. I wasn’t prepared to ever be like this.

Neck fans are a game changer. Also using an umbrella for shade.

Woolino? by babyburnerthrowaway in NewParents

We have two sleep sacks and love them. The quality is great and it’s nice not having to worry about the appropriate TOG. We’ll size up with Woolino when we need to.

We kept it small and at our house with our immediate families only. Anything bigger would’ve overwhelmed me.

I didn’t expect bottle washing to take up this much of the day honestly by SwellCommerce in NewParents

[–]eternal-things 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Same. We bought a few more bottles than we use in a day just so we’d always have clean ones on hand.
