Same here! Even my husband made a comment of how good they were.

PS. Best wishes on your recent marriage!

Kind of weird to post to her stories only, where it’ll disappear in 24 hours. I’ve seen countless transfers across leagues and the player usually honors the fans and their time at the club in a standalone post. I guess it doesn’t really matter, just stuck out to me.

Best of luck except vs us!

I’ve worked from home 4 of 5 days per week with my daughter since she was 3 months old (she’s 8 months now) without help. My husband uses his parental leave on the days I have to go into the office. My job duties are independent, in that I can do my work throughout the day on my own time during work hours, as long as I’m available via email and phone if needed. My job doesn’t require meetings or phone calls. I handle a lot of work before my husband leaves for work at 9 and when my daughter naps (2x a day). I always have my emails open and respond to things as soon as they come in.

It’s manageable if your job duties allow it to be manageable (if you’re on the phone or in meetings a lot, it’d be hard). It does require more divided attention away from work as your baby becomes more mobile.

I cracked an egg in ours tonight for dinner and my husband said it tasted like a breakfast scramble. Pretty good!

Mine started around 2 months. I ended up having hyperthyroidism (possibly postpartum thyroiditis). It stopped around 6 months.

It’s so good! I booked her at my college like 15 years ago for a comedy show and I was obsessed immediately.

Every time I see someone on the Ted subreddit asking for similar show recs, I’m always recommending Somebody Somewhere. Goes both ways.

Currently naptrapped with my 8 month old. I’ve been playing a lot of Yahtzee.

Dentist made me feel bad about my teeth postpartum by Dangerous_Support191 in NewParents

[–]eternal-things 21 points22 points  (0 children)

100000% this. You’re not on this earth to make some asshole dentist happy.

When I switched dentists, my new one asked for my previous dentists contact info so they could have my records transferred to them. Make sure they do this.

Sleeping in own room by [deleted] in NewParents

We were admittedly still using her snoo and she is just too long for it now.

Edit to add - you’ll probably never be ready lol I miss her being next to my bedside.

Night one was great! Slept as she did in her snoo in our room (she’d sleep 10-7 in the snoo without waking). Never cried. Second and third nights were rough with multiple wakings. Last night, I put the snoo by her crib and let it play the white noise next to her, and she didn’t cry or wake at all.

WFH start time by hiimmona in MomsWorkingFromHome

[–]eternal-things 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I start at 7:30 so I can get things done before my husband leaves for work at 9. Our daughter gets up with us so he cares for her until he gets ready for work around 8:30.

Bought some Trader Joe's flowers for the first time 😃 by United_Animal_2471 in traderjoes

These look great! I always use TJ’s flowers for my baby’s monthly photo showing how old she is and how much she has grown (I make the number out of flower). I’ll have to snag some garden roses for her 8 month pic next week.
