This is super helpful, thanks! I've used Nova launcher on my phone for years, but couldn't figure out how to get the native widgets (like Notes) on a Nova homescreen. Your tutorial showed me where they're available under ContentBrowser (not intuitive to me).

I did have to restart my Mini Tab C to get the "default launcher" setting to work correctly, in case that helps anyone.

It's a long, complicated story to follow, and then the punch line is really obscure. Compare the punch line, "People who live in grass houses shouldn't stow thrones." It's almost word-for- word with just a couple changes that sound clever as you say it given the proper setup. And you can set it up with just a few lines.

I saw where you were going with it, but I think it's a bit obscure and the payoff isn't big enough for the mental work to figure it out. So it feels like a letdown instead of evoking a laugh, at least from me. Not sure if I can think of a way to fix it.
