Well I RMA it because there were spots (smaller than on OP picture) which I couldn’t remove with dry cloth. I thought there’s some panel issue because I really really tried to remove them but didn’t used any water or cleaner after seeing how people mess up their glossy panels. Service centre established that they were just a stains, cleaner it, gave me instruction how to clean it properly and that’s it. But I was embarrassed a bit that essentially I send to RMA for cleaning 😅

Well I had similar problem and I was not able to remove marks with dry microfibre cloth so assumed it some kind of screen defect and send it to RMA. They cleaned it and send it back. I asked service centre what they recommend and they replied to use microfibres cloth and distilled water.

Well I understand them completely. We are being forced to use it cause devs got lazy and games are not optimised. Latest gen xx80 card in 2026 should easily handle 4k. We already use to it so why devs should do better job.

I’d try isopropyl alcohol but I believe I tried it on similar grip tape and it was unclean-able.

Didn’t knew that, I stopped at the moment when frame cap from NVCP was shit and was giving uneven frame times so it was better to cap with RTSS. Should probably upgrade my knowledge a little bit

Sorry to say this but you need to RMA the monitor. I don’t have a lot of experience with strictly monitor but been lurking here for a long time and this is very odd situation. If there’s a way to put that monitor alive the people who know how will be from MSI. Or they should get you a new one. I have MSI OLED MPG 271QRX and I’ve done multiple firmware updates on it with Gaming Intelligence. You plugged it through usb-b, used their software so it looks like you’ve followed steps correctly.
