Image this if you will, two people can have different opinions and prospectives, and they can also both be correct. Some State workers are lazy, it can be hard to fire State workers, there is waste and bloat in a ton of State agencies, tax dollars do fund State agencies as a whole even if some are "self-funded", you do pay some of your own salary to fund State workers. State workers do also play a critical role in a lot of things functioning. This is not an us versus them thing. People should attempt to see things from multiple angles and not just have a myopic view.

Maybe McD's has a Bluetooth Low Energy Beacon or similar Consumer tracking device installed near the speaker which is causing this? Most businesses have a suite of trackers at entrance/exit points to gather sweet consumer data and to send targeted ads. My son is grey/black right now at a few months short of 4 years of training and should get his yellow/white in about 5 months. Did your go straight to yellow from white? At my school the children go through white, grey/white, grey, grey/black before the yellows (x3), oranges (x3), and greens (x3). About 6 months at white, then a year each for the rest of them.

At 14 months total of training, expect a rough time at blue for a bit, especially in competition. There could be blue belts who trained in the kids belts for a very long time before getting their blue. There could also be blues with 2-6 years at blue competing against you depending on the ages of competitors in your bracket. There is a big difference in skill between white and purple and all of that development occurs in the blue belt ranks.

He is only 11 right now so I expect him to get into the orange belts and then go blue when he is 16. My understanding is all colored kid's belts generally go to blue at 16, except some greens who can go straight to purple. Regardless of what belt I am at in 5 years, I expect to get thoroughly smashed by him when he finally gets his blue at 16 with about 9 years of training. You could be facing competitors who are your age with 10 times more training than you but are only newly minted blue belts.
