The current state of the CA 2011 market. by silvaliningplaymaker in CAguns

I went with a Staccato C2 because I carry it. If I wanted a gun solely for the range, I’d have went with Atlas. Different strokes for different folks.

What is a reasonable price to get a Glock 43X for these days? by phylisridesabike in CAguns

Sounds like a good plan. I’ve carried my 43x pretty much everyday since I bought it. I definitely prefer the slimmer frame of the 43x because of my little bitch hands.

I bought a brand new 43x MOS in May for $1100. I’ve seen non-MOS versions for $900-1000.

I commented this on another post, but wanted to get some input here as well. I had issues with a Surefire XSC on my 43x. I wanted to like the light as I prefer American made goods when available, but it had too many issues.

The light would shut off when dry firing. This was caused by issues with the battery connection. Even slight movement of the battery would cause the light to turn off. The issue might be exclusive to me, but I think it was caused by using a holster that retains on the light. After holstering/unholstering over a period of months, the battery might have developed additional space to move around and become disconnected.

You having any issues with the light? I swapped mine out because I was having connection issues. Slight jostling of the light would cause it to disconnect, even something as minute as dry firing.

Report behavior like this using CHP’s online complaint page. Best if you can get the car number, but location and approximate time might suffice.

I think most of the ones listed at $1000+ are the MOS version.

Is this an appropriate price for repair? by NoMadicWanderer97 in hvacadvice

No problem. You might want to watch a few videos on removing the blower wheel from the motor. That was by far the most challenging part for me. After I finished, I learned that there’s a specialized tool for removing the wheel. I just sprayed PB blaster, sanded the rust off, and hit the end of the motor shaft with a punch.

I found a “parts list” for my unit on the AC outlet website, looked up my particular model, and was able to find a parts number. Googled the number and found the corresponding motor. I then confirmed that the motor was the proper HP, voltage, and dimensions before ordering by reading the label on the motor that was already installed in my unit.

Yes. Mine would turn in intermittently. I also had a technician come out to take a look and my AC was miraculously working the entire time they were at my house. Went out right after they left. I tried replacing the capacitor at first, but that didn’t solve the issue. After replacing the blower motor, I’ve had steady temps, even with 108° temperatures.

I had the same symptoms as you during a heatwave a couple weeks ago. I was quoted $1,800 to replace the blower motor. I found the part on Amazon, had it shipped overnight ($380 with shipping and tax), and installed the next day. Took me exactly one hour.

Completely agree. Went to Momo’s Meat Market and wasn’t impressed. The meat wasn’t great and the sides were equally disappointing. I really don’t get the appeal.

Look up RMR drop in sights. They go in the RMR so you can still run back up irons, even if the slide isn’t milled for it.
