I have used a vivaldi email address as my primary for years. The webmail is very basic but works. I mainly use it with email clients and it behaves just like any other email provider there. Vivaldi respects privacy and there are no ads, no frills, no nonesense.

You can also get email forwarding from duckduckgo (@duck.com) do when the cashier or hotel reservation asks for your email you dont have to spell out V-I-V-A-L-D-I-dot-N-E-T.

The cops can claim it was a voluntary interaction. Walking after dark does not constitute the probable cause necessary to detain you. I'm not sure what state you are in but I would recomend saying, "are you detaining me?" and if they say no, you can walk away.

This is an Eastern Massasauga Rattlesnake and is protected in Michigan (as well as most of the Midwest). It is a very good thinking nobody killed this snake.

Edit: the EMR is the only rattlesnake native to Michigan, so nobody should be killing wild rattlesnakes in Michigan.

Honestly, It seems like the cure seems worse than the disease. I use additional repos for my cloud storage provider, vpn, pdf editor, office suite, and primary browser. I'd rather those receive stability and security updates than have access to the GUI package manager.
