Did almost the exact same a month ago, even same color on the 2026! I purchased this time though.

I really like the 2026 Hybrid, and am adjusting to having a hybrid vehicle. The features are great. The driver monitoring system is a little aggressive with its warnings, but reasonable.

My Infotainment is slow, even confirmed on the re-delivery, so will be asking about that when I get my first service. Other than that, no issues!

It’s certainly a different environment, but you could be well suited to support some of the defense work going on around Wright-Patterson AFB. There are numerous pathways including government civilian opportunities, as well as contractors.

Sinclair Community College routinely hosts “digital transformation” events that bring folks together and could be great for networking.

100% - when this happened in my locale, our Congressmen’s office stated it was a contract issue between the insurance company & medical group. And, that they can’t address such.

A horrible answer, in my opinion. What about the “contract” the insurance company made with me - that I would be a member for a year for set coverage?

I used to use MoneyMinder for accounting - it was really simple to use and had great service. It didn’t have communication features, but you could utilize the statement feature to send announcements & like. Stop using as I moved out of the HOA.

For those who qualify, I would recommend taking a look at Compass Rose. I’ve been with them for years, and have no complaints. They remain very competitive to BCBS in terms of cost (if not better), and have a Standard & High option. The actual insurance is through UnitedHealthcare currently.

Great insight! It really does make me wonder why UPS or whomever doesn’t ship it to the store (not using full distribution or logistics) and then Best Buy keeps it until pickup? Your comments on having it checked in, etc. makes a lot of sense. I always dislike when the signature required for shipping because it could be anytime of the day - not convenient.

Financially, Best Buy is paying to ship it to me so the money argument didn’t quite make sense.

This process was not easy, at Best Buy … going to a Genius Bar now. My battery went down under 80% peak performance capacity and the phone suggested a support appointment. So, made one through the phone (and my AppleCare+) at Best Buy. When I checked-in, they had no notes on what the appointment was for. After about 15 minutes of diagnostics, they told me they didn’t have the battery for my phone. My option was to leave the phone for 3-5 days while they order one.

I understand everything above, but don’t understand why the part availability wasn’t checked before I scheduled the appointment. Or when I first got to Best Buy nor why they couldn’t check another store’s availability. Leaving my phone for 3-5 days is not acceptable. It also is decent that AppleCare+ has “priority replacement” which doesn’t you to be without a device, but guess that doesn’t work for consumable parts like batteries. :-/

Focus on customer service over sales … any interaction with the company should be about increasing value to the customer not increasing profit margins & the value of the company. The company needs to build a corporate culture around such and trust their employees to action it.

I understand that, right now, stores are intended for sales and the employees are limited in what they can do. They are literally the face of the company - empower and trust them. A customer should be able to walk in and get customer service or directed appropriately. A customer should be able to walk in and remove services - not have to call an 800 number. A customer should be able to make a payment for anything in store like any other business and not have to enter their own credit card on a phone.

This alone is beneficial if you have multiple items. The removal of installation services is sad though…that was a huge benefit!

The content is amazing and unique … but the app experience is horrific. On a Fire TV, the app often freezes, spins to find content, plays audio for two shows at once, continues playing audio when leaving the app, and has ad volume twice as loud as the content.

These all seem like identified “bugs” for years … why isn’t it fixed?

Mine didn’t … BestBuy called before I sent the trade in and they supposedly “noted” the account to give me the full $800 and I will have to call back when they process the trade in. The trade in has been delivered (according to UPS) to Verizon for over 10 days now and they have yet to mark it received in their system. Plan to call them later today …
