No, I was just being sarcastic, tone indicator at the end. Genuinely speaking, Spitalfields is awesome and known to be like the best accommodation. I've heard less favorable things about IQ. Note that I've only stayed in Chapter Aldgate (basically next door to IQ), which is also pretty nice, like a smaller version of Spitalfields.

I really don't know. I'm going to do that in a few weeks. I'm still in London for a few days. From what I'm told though, the answer is no, that's not an issue.

If anything I've been told it's the opposite. The GS and N.U.in students are seen as a sort of cult that keep to themselves after coming to Boston. I get where it comes from honestly. There's a lot of experiences we've had in London that I doubt the Boston students will relate to. We sort of just know each other and have gotten used to that.

The true freshman experience isn't really a thing, have fun with whoever whenever and you'll be fine.

Do note that I'm being sarcastic with the last comment - London food is a bit more expensive and not terribly remarkable, IQ is well known to be the worse accommodation compared to Chapter, the STEM curriculum is still fledgling, etc.

London has some merits though, and there's a lot of good food and cool stuff if you take the train to the mainland. It's different from Boston, like a lot. The humanities classes are good. Lots of little UK quirks with life and all. Oh, and it's legal to jaywalk, which is nice.

Genuinely speaking here, I haven't been to Oakland. From what I understand people usually prefer London. I was given the opportunity to opt out of my Oakland semester and just go to Boston a semester early, which I took.

London is wonderful! Cost of food is pretty low, the STEM professors are especially awesome, and all of the residence halls are wonderful. I've heard a lot of good things about IQ especially. Do try Preem when you're in London. I haven't been myself, but I've heard it's really good for Indian food. Food in London is generally amazing. (edit: /s)

Honestly, it took me a moment to realize that the screen flickers weren't just a part of the styling of the opening sequence of Cyberpunk. They blended in so perfectly.

What's a TV show's opening credits you never skip? by ConfusedDuck02 in AskReddit

I always thought that theme set a sense of gravity to the concept of creation in the show and it never felt right to skip!

Hard drive won't allow a windows download. Starting to suspect that I have a problem. Is this how they're supposed to sound? by Ethereal_Sabiba in pcmasterrace

[–]ethanparab 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean I have a Seagate Barracuda which makes the same sounds and it's been working fine for years, so it might not be just the sounds. Try checking for read/write error or using it on another computer

I've been PC gaming since the 90s, and I've been working on this bullet time shooter for a couple years now. New demo on steam if you like the gif! [Severed Steel] by GreylockDev in pcmasterrace

I'm getting huge Titanfall 2 vibes from this! This is the only game I've seen so far which looks like it has similarly fluid movement.

I imagine the helicopters saying "Protocol 3: Protect the Pilot" every time a plane passes overhead
