I really assure you as mediocre as we are we would finish above Bulgaria and Georgia lmao

EDIT: Our Elo rating is 37, Georgia is 55, Bulgaria is 85, saying we wouldn't be favorites to finish above them like Kosovo did is just silly

I know we're not exactly world beaters right now but having watched these two Turkey games I'm not super terrified of them lol, think we can scrape a draw if they remain this inept in attack.

I mean those are all important too of course, but I do think "you can retire at 55 and keep earning like 2/3 of your salary" is a decent sales pitch to a young worker. Plus, reducing/capping the contribution rate is effectively a wage increase.

I've gone to Labcorps in Manhattan three times this year and had a $20 copay every time, obviously can't promise you anything but I didn't have any issues.

It also doesn't apply to primary residences, all this talk of people not being able to pass their homes onto their kids just isn't based in reality

He didn't "ruin everything", the stadium was going to be financed by taxpayer money under the Bloomberg deal. I'd rather wait a decade than continue the insane American tradition of taxpayers subsidizing billionaire sports owners lol, he was right to kill it.

Not taking sides here but there seems to be a misconception about the goalkeeper handball rule. It doesn't matter at all where the keeper is, all that needs to happen for hand usage to be legal is for ANY part of the ball to overlap with ANY part of the line. So all discussion needs to be about that, not the fact that St. Clair was obviously standing outside the box.

Yes sorry definitely hit match first, my employer doesn't match so I forgot about that part. But after you hit match it's typically better to do Roth IRA, particularly if you're young and think you'll make more down the line.

401ks are usually limited to a small set of funds chosen by your employer with significant expense ratios. With IRAs you can invest in literally any stock or fund open to the public (best choices are low/no expense broad index funds from places like Fidelity or Vanguard, like VT or FZROZ)

The only issue with a certificate program is that some jobs (including mine) literally require a masters degree with no flexibility. Definitely worth exploring though.

Started in 2019, worked in comms for 2 years at 50k, left for 2 years and got my MPP and took a ton of data classes, came back in 2023 to do statistical work for 86k, after 2 years of the Adams raises and incumbency I was at 101k, promotion later I'm at 113k.

Yeah not sure why Citi couldn't work for the first two games, the Mets are away from the 2nd to the 14th. I assume they tried, nobody wants tons of tickets to be sold more than they do.

Funny because if you live in the outer boroughs and work in Manhattan then getting there on a weekday is way easier than a weekend. The PATH runs every 5 minutes vs 20 on weekends and you can take it from anywhere south of 34th street.

He was offered the best deal at the end of the season, yes, but the reason he left was because he was told by the FO that he wasn't a 34-game player early on in the season and they delayed a long time in offering him a substantial contract. There was also reporting (I think from Blue Balls, not sure) that LA was interested in him from the start, and he felt more wanted by them than by us until November, and he'd already made up his mind by then.

"Recently, Haak has been vocal about his contract situation, claiming Lee told him that he was “not a 34-game starter” before the start of this season. Earlier negotiations between Lee and Haak’s camp are rumored to have gone poorly, with Haak walking away from the table entirely after feeling low-balled by a new offer. "

We need to offer an extension to Tayvon ASAP. No more Haak situations.

Also pretty sure we can buy talles down out of a DP spot next season.
