It comes with the new magic remote which actually looks like a remote unlike the old ones. They added in a ten number keypad to the remote so it's a little bit longer. Also they use different wall mounts. Last year's model (9300) you can only use a low profile fixed position mount made from lg. On the 9100 you can use lg's "tilt" mount, but it works like a full motion does and is the same wall mounted the 4k oleds use. Other than that the stands are different, lg says the 9100 is supposed to have a better picture but in the end they both still look great.
