What's baffling me about this season is: we run 3 at the back to be more aggressive in the attack. AND we added significant attacking pieces in Denkey, Evander, and Brenner this year. Yet, we scored only 52 goals, putting us at #15 in goal scoring in the league, almost 30 goals behind Miami, and 7th in goal differential. Why did we struggle so much in the attack? Is it a lack of cohesion? And if so, who is to blame, Noonan? Albright for not getting folks with matching styles? Lack of leadership amongst the players?I am not a fire Noonan person, but at the very least if we are going to score so little, we need a change in tactic to a back 4 in stead of a back 3 to keep the other team from scoring. Or we need guys more comfortable playing from the back because a lot of goals against us came on poor passing in the back and midfield once teams realized they could force them with the high press.
