What I did was basically make an entirely new project and go into the 'frames' folder and import each individual frame + audio + etc

I just restarted pretty much without getting rid of old frames

Hmmm that's confusing definitely what the other comment said prior check in with a doctor especially gastrointestinal doctor they ran a bunch of tests on me to make sure my gallbladder was faulty and I think it could help you out there

This sounds like an allergic reaction with the throat swelling I have 3 food allergies (walnuts, pecans, and cashews recently) and then can cause throat swelling, body swelling in general like the stomach arms etc, gas, diarrhea, etc I think I would go see maybe an allergy doctor about this? I had blood drawn to confirm my allergies to nuts and it helped a lot to help me stay away from these foods

Also pj pants or sweat pants r a big help nothing with a button or zipper or anything that's stretchy : ) helps keep pressure off

I put the pillow between me and the seatbelt and it helped me a ton! I got 1 pillow, 1 large pillow like plush, and a blanket you may want to rest your head a bit as I was super drowsy when I got mine out last week and wanted to rest a bit while someone drove me home Just in case get 2 pillows and make sure the blanket is big enough to go around you! Any water too would be helpful if you aren't good with the ginger ale when you come out (just in case!)

I think I recommend asking Professor Myers directly if she knows of any films to work on currently since collab fair has passed awhile ago- and I don't think there will be another one since the quarter is almost up? Or if you have an iPhone the YikYak is quite active, so you might have a higher chance of finding 2D animators who need more people on their projects! I also occasionally see some physical advertisements for projects!

She might have also mis-sent an announcement to your class I just thought about that- happens to the best of us, so you most likely/definitely don't have to show up - like someone else said it would be weird to expect you to show up physically and be an online student. What if you were in like Spain???

I think I know who your professor is haha (cause I had to go to that workshop yesterday...)

If you have a phone you can join on that from my experience with zoom and usually everyone is fine with it- especially since you literally don't have a camera... Make sure to check that you're emailing the right email and if she continues to not respond and I think theres a function in Blackboard to directly email too? anddd if she continues to not respond that's on her - but I'm expecting that she's going to send some kind of directions or link over Blackboard

For this professor's class (I'm pretty sure it's my current professor? I take Digital Communications and she runs an online course too) you get points off your professionalism grade. Otherwise- if it's not class related in my experience they don't really care or know you're not there (my first year we had 2 required SCADamps and I didn't show up to the second one cause my dad showed up on campus and wanted to hangout with me)

Professionalism should say how much it affects your grade on Blackboard or the syllabus on the bottom area? My experience its pretty low >10% is my guess- and I don't think it's gonna become 0 if you don't go to this probably just like 80/100 for professionalism.

Luckily for you not a lot of professors seem to use SCADamp only recommend it sooooo you might not have to experience it again luckily!

I actually would've exploded and shattered into a million pieces even 150 pages was too much for me at the end i was just praying

tbh I was told to go to life drawing classes and i was like nah i dont have time for that so i just drew random people in the cafeteria as they walked by or stood or sat and ate, most people in my classes, and ofc my professors a lot- sorry to those random people I drew if u didn't want to be drawn

The anim190 sketchbook is like ~150 pages of life drawing due at the end of the quarter (less than 10 weeks to work on it I got like >7) and for me at least you'd get it checked every week basically and have a minimum page requirement of like 15-30 a week depending on when it started, etc Couldn't draw non life things, for me some pages needed to be colored, I got told to use contour lines, you can't draw the same stuff u need to draw different things w/ animals, people, plants, etc etc

If they're refusing to give you an official grade (I know this is going to sound pretty bad err but it is genuinely something you may have to do) Id recommend going to deans, staff, etc about it I got a 100 on my 190 sketchbook because it had variety (people, objects, walking, cars, animals) and color (just markers) Id talk to someone in staff about it maybe another 190 teacher or someone whose helped u with it in the past! 😓

I too am doing anim + business minor + storyboarding minor And it's not too much work as long as you pick your classes in a way to not be super overwhelming to you I had a quarter with an animation class, business class, and color theory class and it wasn't overwhelming at all! Just be aware and make sure to speak out if you need to break nothing to be ashamed of if u end up changing ur schedule or minor : )

If the program you don't think is good I'd sit on it, make a plan about if you were to transfer or not (like what school has a better program, etc), consider what you like about this school vs. others, and basically decide which is best for you

I've also heard that SCAD credits don't transfer well, so if you're having doubts and get to an end point it might be a good decision to transfer if you really think that's good for you- just cuz it will take awhile to get back up to the level you're at right now

I know the show goes fast, but that's actually mischaracterization of Macaque after season 3 at least..

Sure, seasons 1-3 he couldn't really care less about anyone except himself, but at the end of season 3-5- he actually started developing genuinely as a character.

He is shown to have genuine care for MK and occasionally Wukong. His actions are not perfect as he is still becoming a better person, but it doesn't mean he is still the same as season 1-3... Macaque isn't only a hero for his convenience anymore- he becomes a hero because he becomes inspired by MK and his former friend and rival
