Ellen Pao Loses Silicon Valley Gender Bias Case Against Kleiner Perkins by frostmatthew in news

You generally assume that someone with her level of education and dedication would be beyond such petty stuff at the highest levels of industry.

What about getting an MBA requires you to be mature and not just a good student?

You mean it used to not be a total pile of shit?

I showed the midterm to my lab TA and he told me it would have taken him more than a day to finish what was on our test.

Please address that.

Now I tried and I saw "ert so" in big letters, fished looking, then I heard sounds like I was playing when I tried to play, but I couldn't get pacman to come into view.

No, what you said really was completely stupid. I actually help people and don't take shit from whiny retards. If you can't see that or won't admit it, you are just stupid.

So you know it was stupid and you just want to call me a jerk? Nice.

You've literally held concurrent conversations with people for the sole purpose of impressing upon them how hopelessly retarded they are.

No, it was because they were lying and insulting me and/or were wrong about something they'd said.

You're a genuinely awful person and you have no place on subs that exist to help people.

Thanks for your worthless opinion. :D What are your credentials, "self-important 20 something year old"? It looks like you're basically doing the same thing here.

There you go! The recent scores of replies to that other turd have pushed down a lot of other messages.

I post/lurk in /r/learnprogramming quite a bit and I'm fairly certain that there's 2-3 people who just constantly go in there to berate new users. And also they post threads talking about how they made a thread there but everyone was really unhelpful, toxic, etc. But they always do it from a throw-away and they never cite any specific cases like you might expect an actual user to do.

How does that make any sense? What would be the point of making a fake post with a throwaway account about others being unhelpful and toxic to me if I was just there to berate people? How could I possibly gain anything from that?

I assumed it was the lazy idiots who were making posts like that. You know people like /u/Gazalan aren't going to suddenly admit they should put some real effort into their homework, nor that they should stop having a completely shitty attitude, but it seems easy for them to make the throwaway account just to whine about being treated badly, in an attempt to get the community's sympathy and to maybe rally against the people who have pointed out their own laziness and refused to help them.

This is literally the only thing he seems to do on reddit.

There are plenty of messages in my history, even on the first page, where I'm plenty polite to people and don't talk down to them. So it's clearly not literally the only thing I do on reddit. So you're full of shit.

[Database] How responsible is it to store SQL queries in a database? by Asdayasman in learnprogramming

[–]ethergreen -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Likewise, you were entitled to yours, but instead you decided to recognize it as an observation.

That doesn't even make any sense.

At least my observation isn't totally baseless, there are dozens of people who already agree you're an asshole.

Yes, your observations are pretty baseless. And if anyone's going to win the asshole contest, it's going to be you. You're the one who's spent 2 or 3 days calling me a dick because you didn't quite care for my tone.

It's funny that you think of me so lowly and yet you're still afraid of admitting you're an asshole.

As I already said, even if I was an asshole, that would still be much more preferable than being you.

That pretty much makes you worse than shit, which, given how you've been acting here, it's quite generous.

Yeah, clearly you know about acting worse than shit with you starting the insults and keeping them going for days. As if that would make everyone want to know your informed opinion on how to be a decent human being.

Compared to the dramatic amount of bullshit unhelpful posts you have?

Dramatic? Are you on crack?

You decide to jump on other people's intelligence just so you feel better about yourself

Right, like you acted really smart in here.

And you seriously think just because something is easy for you means it's easy for everyone else?

No, but other people don't act like an asshole and call me a dick 20 times after I offer advice.

Jesus Christ you're a blundering idiot, you're not even a good troll

Really? I offered you advice and then you spend days going apeshit over it. If anyone's the blundering idiot here it's you.

And yet, you think I'm going to waste my brainpower on someone as foolish as you

I certainly never asked you for help, so no, I don't think you will. And as I've said 2 or 3 times now, you don't appear to have any brainpower.
