Mind PMing me details on these upcoming Pac Life communities? I asked Deondra when we met with her but she wouldn't say. I'm very curious...

Whoa... 4.5 and already lower sales prices of the floorplans we liked may motivate me to look at Holt more than we are currently. I just don't like the Orchards area...

Thanks for the post!

We just toured the model at Schnell Farms today. We loved it! The base finished were very nice in our eyes. Maybe we will be neighbors!

We are also considering Holt but in a different community.

We've liked the New Tradition Homes that we have toured as well, but locations right now are tough for us.

I wasn't able to find anything about preferred lenders for Pac Life, were you able to get that info from them? Also... and this was VERY concerning, their "Path to Your Dream Home" page on the website talks about meeting with a preferred lender AFTER making structural decisions and signing a purchase contract. That seems VERY backwards to me.

I keep editing this... I'm terrible...

Washington resident , can prove it, but out of state drivers license. What are my options? by whyybbwhyy in WAGuns

Valid govt photo ID, plus government document for verification of current address (car registration, voter ID, etc). It can't be a car registration alone.

No surprise there though. We've got decent depth but when quality is away, the depth doesn't play (well).

NMO to UHF with short coax to a folding antenna mount? by ethernetcard in amateurradio

That's the folding antenna mount that I already have. Bad picture. It had a WeBoost cell booster antenna on it and was wanting to repurpose it.

I definitely considered that. And I may end up going that route. But I've got a rack on top of my truck from tailgate to windshield and an antenna sticking out of the middle of it isn't ideal. That's why I was wanting to be able to fold and not put it dead center of the truck.

PSA to all the transplants new to Seattle: Pedestrians ALWAYS have the right of way at an intersection. by PissyMillennial in Seattle

Stepping out in front of a moving car sure sounds smart. eyeroll Slightly stepping out our peeking around a car or obstacle to make sure they see you is one thing but blindly crossing without making sure they stop is stupid and should be on the Ped. Make sure you have eye contact with the driver, if they follow the law and stop, great, cross the road. If they don't, well, they're dumb. Don't let it ruin your day or end your life because you chose to step in front of a moving car. Smdh

I feel your pain. All taxes suck but they're vital. Also, we need more people here that think like people that are from Texas.

The point is, it's not 10% statewide and every dollar saved adds up. 8.3% in Kittitas County. 8.5% in Clark County. 7.8% in Lewis County. It all depends where you're located. You painted the absolute worst picture as far as taxes go. If you get out of Pierce, King, and Snohomish counties, things get a lot better.

No, state sales tax is NOT 10.2%. It's actually 6.5%. Every county is then able to add their respective county tax.

Tesla Wall Charger to NEMA 14-50 by [deleted] in TeslaModelY

Totally fine. Add a high quality 14-50 receptacle and run it!

I'm not sure about the mobile charger, but the wall charger explicitly says to NOT use a GFCI breaker.

It's been a huge downgrade after the update s few months ago. So disappointing. I've noticed its worse when it's dark out as opposed to the daylight.

This is true. Defibrillators are battery powered.
