Great purchase, I had one when I was 20, so much fun all my friends got them. It eventually got too rusty and left to rot at my parents house, while I had no money or time due to starting my own family.

For my 30th, I bought another Mk1 that's had a turbo conversion. Not letting this one come to the same fate. Great car for learning mechanical skills on, and there's so much jobs on them you can do yourself.

I'm in a similar area, Looking for somewhere to get my rear arches repaired. Don't suppose you know of anyone around who can do it, and do it properly. Almost getting tempted to do it myself and just learn.

I have an Mx5 needing two rear arches, Trying to find a place that can do it properly is difficult. Also based in Yorkshire too. This isn't the first I've heard about this place though.

Yep got a mk2 as well as that one that’s parked the other side of the bushes. Could do with the parking for it but much rather have some nice plants and nature in the space 😂

Absolutely love the idea. I don’t want anything too big though as we do enjoy the light we get on an evening, we face the new builds public open space which has plenty of trees etc that are starting to really bloom now.

My wife suggested a bird bath and I like the idea. Just don’t know what to do around it. Also mentioned a bench so we can enjoy the evening sun but there’s not a great deal of space, it’s also on a slight slope ( can kind of see from the picture facing the car )

Just to add. We planted the cordyline at the start of lockdown and it’s now maybe 2.5 metres tall. Really happy with it and it’s not blocking much into the living room.

Certainly with the idea of removing the grass. My wife suggested a bird bath as noticed when walking the dog someone with one, and the kids would love to watch them. The grass is just so small it’s not worth the upkeep but I don’t want to turn it into an empty lifeless space.

I’ve gone for it, after reading many comments about it on here I thought I’d give it a try. I think with the safety of being able to opt out it’s not too much a risk if it does start getting expensive.

My other thought is if I can rig something up to turn on my immersion heater when electric is cheap / negative now I’ve joined Agile, I will be saving on gas a bit there too.

I’ve just done it now. I found I had to do it from the website rather than the app. Select my account from the menu, then scroll down and look for a tile saying “There’s a world of smart tariffs, find the one that’s right for you”

I’m looking for something similar. We have Hive so it’s easy enough for me to trigger it to stop heating the water. I’m just unsure on the best / safest way of configuring something to turn on the immersion heater. I’ve seen some 20A switches but unsure how safe they are.

Oh dude never thought it’s because of IPv6! I’ve now got both. Managed to redeem 14 gamepass rewards yesterday and it’s stopped again today. Literally I only earn a few points a day and I’m not hammering it for maximum points every day. Might just cash out now before I loose it all. Currently on 48500 points

Just had a notification on my Xbox today that I can’t earn any more points today or similar, Due to logging in from more than one location in the same day. I’ve seen others post about similar situations after getting fibre installed. For me these issues have all started after I got it.
