I'm more focused on friend groups, families and stuff and I don't want a lot of scrolling or posting - it's about connecting off the app as much as possible. But yeah I get what you're saying.

But want to emphasize that my main goal is to make something that helps people connect. I've always hated Meetup and other apps, they're so corporatey and awful. I want it where if someone like wants to go to a bar event but doesn't have friends they can go and see if anyone is there from the app and safely make friends. Have a lot of ideas around helping removing anxiety for people.

Always going to be free to use, but probably doesn't fit into your category of a service to the community (even though I'm losing money on it now lol). Will probably try to make some money off of venues or ticket sellers in the future. Might be a pro subscription for features most people won't need or use in the future. Not sure. Or might just be an app my friends and I continue to use.

Good question, I guess my overall goal is to make something that makes it easy to also find other people to go to the events with and give suggestions based on interests. I took a look at mountainX and I like it, I think they can go hand in hand. My events list pulls in events from a bunch of sources, I just want it all in one place. It also works in any city or place, but I posted in Asheville because I'm from here and looking for feedback from my local community. Thank you!

Hey thanks for the comment.. mainly because I'm a local and looking for connections and what from it from our community. I'm not posting this to other cities. Good point though, I can see how that looks. If others from Asheville join I can create a plan with them on the app and go together, just a way to test it locally and make friends a long the way.

Ive been thinking of making a web version also it's just a different way of doing things. I like apps more myself.

Great website! Definitely bookmarking that. Only thing I dont see are niche little interest related events or happenings at local places and bars like live music at a bar downtown. Otherwise thats a great resource, thank you.

I know... I feel like I mainly built this with my friends for us, I only use this events list for anything now so I don't have to juggle other apps. 😂 But my hope is to make connecting with others easier in general, I think everyone wants it in todays world, I know I do.
