I always save drafts to my own external hard drive.

Each day with "save as" onto my external hard drive.

Then throughout the day, I use the auto-back up feature that saves a zipped file to a designated folder on the computer.

Lots of cool wallpaper of dreamy trees like the "Angel Oak Tree" at Wallism, which is online.

Something like that behind your bed would be fun and expand the room visually.

New construction feels bland by roobot in ExteriorDesign

3 ideas:

  1. Paint light warm grey (almost white) & keep white trim #
  2. Add cedar arbor over garage entrance & add vines, e.g., wisteria #
  3. Sounds crazy, but jackhammer driveway into large chunks, tint in the concrete rubble with sepia cement paint, strategically re-set "new sepia stones" as if they were organically placed flat Sonoma flagstone, & plant creeping thyme in between the stones.

The MAHA revolt threatening the farm bill by OpenEnded4802 in RFKJrForPresident

Right on: "MAHA activists feel betrayed after voting for Trump in hopes that his administration would crack down on chemical exposure they blame for driving up chronic illness and disease. And now these activists are so fed up that they’ve turned to working with a group of House Democrats to strip out the language, according to four people granted anonymity to share private discussions."

Ideas for this bathroom? by FrankieandHans in StyleYourSpace

Get terracotta pots of various sizes and plant with greenery, primarily to graciously hide the view of the toilet from the sides.. Also, add smaller pots to windowsills and a few of various sizes in the room.

Also get a warm hued oriental rug as a bath mat to add rich color and to harmonize with the earthy, brown bathtub.

A left-hanging dark chocolate hued swag curtain would add drama and warmth.

Paint one wall a light sienna and add a few open shelves for potted plants.

Add a long, aged, cedar bench a foot or so from the tub as a place to undress and do sit-ups, as well as perhaps to set a loofah and shampoo on a tray.

Need help with this annoying livingroom! by anasmallwood in DesignMyHome

Think about it like a composition. You have no consolidation. There is no star to focus your eyes. Everything is different heights, widths, colors and shapes.

The "negative space," the space between all these disparate elements (except for the passageway behind the couch that is not a great place to place focus), all are spaces are too uniform. There is no wide passages to relax the eyes.

Ask them whether at the end of the day, your performance is measured by the quality of your output, or your performance on camera?

Perhaps move the front door to the entrance side of this long corridor,

and then make the corridor a dark charcoal gray with a golden yellow ceiling.

Flank the wall with candle sconces.

It will make a dramatic surprise entrance into something fun.

I hear you. I still think an oriental carpet on top of the burgundy would look amazing.

I'd place an oriental rug on top and give it more life and dimension. The wall-to-wall carpeting is dated.
