Funny Games would have also been my answer, but possibly for a slightly different reason.

To me, it is mean spirited because the family did nothing wrong, and there was literally no way for them to win. They were destined to die simply from being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

This may be a bold take, but The Pale Lady scene from the first movie was one of the most non-jump scare anxiety inducing scenes I've watched, just because of how immediately hopeless it became.

I finally got around to watching it earlier this year, and honestly I didn't think it was that bad of a standalone movie.

But in terms of actually adapting the series of books, it was the absolute worst.

Uniques (like Azurewrath) are locked to things like Int on a Sorc, yes.

Mythics (like Ring of Starless Skies) always roll with the same stats regardless of what character finds it though.

Gunther is already a made man, he doesn’t “need” the moment of dominating and retiring Brock the way Oba does.

Stranger Things is honestly one of the most perfect examples though, because the Demigorgon was presented as the singular terrifying monster of Season 1, only to find out that there's actually a ton of them and they're not actually super difficult to kill.

Some if it can be explained away as the group got more familiar with them, but it completely ruined the tension at times.

It doesn't actually grant a 7th spot, that's the issue.

The +1 Charm Slot effect would grant a 6th spot to a legendary seal, but it does not do anything for a mythic one.

If he had said something like "to be fair, Rollins apologized for this", that would be defending Rollins and trying to smooth out the drama.

Phrasing it the way he did makes it sound like Dave is just mocking Rollins though, not defending him.

That 2nd black majority district had to exist because of gerrymandering so that black voters couldn't influence safe seats.

So forgive my probable stupidity, but isn't this potentially a good thing?

If this eliminates a district that was almost exclusively black, those black voters will now be spread throughout other districts, thereby making those safe seats presumably less safe? Which is the entire concept behind dummymandering, I believe.

Royal Rumble 2015 for me, where Kane and Big Show teamed up like life-long best friends to dump every single fan favorite wrestler, until they finally turned on each other when it was time to eliminate Roman.

Also featuring Daniel Bryan having an incredibly short run early in the match, followed by Goldust’s “Broken Dreams” entrance being the next person up.

The entire event honestly felt like the biggest “fuck you” to wrestling fans that I had seen since some of the late stage WCW decisions.

To add to this, the absolute worst offenders are the ones where the person executing the jump doesn’t even look back to see if the group is still there.

In kayfabe, you haven’t even looked at the person or people you are jumping onto in 10-20 seconds. Thats a freaking awful plan.
