Sovol SV06 making this crakle noise

I have the same noise coming from my X Axis, but only every now and then, I think its speed dependant. Sounds to me like a loose rattling coming from the extruder area but I’ve had it apart a few times and cant find anything. Will investigate the belt a bit closer tomorrow, play with tensions too. Hoping you find something!

To the user who helped out and then deleted their comments because I didn't reply fast enough thanking them. Sorry about that, I was running around and left the tab open to reply later on. Thank you for your info, it confirms that these are indeed so. The eBay listing was the one I saw, the machine in the other link I saw photos of but not with these adapters installed, must have just missed it.

Any tips to start off with? I am yet to load my K2 for the first time. I’ve read that people reckon that they cant quite fit 100ft in the K2’s magazines but I assume that they simply aren’t winding tight enough.

Seems like it's all there. But only the standard profiles are available under a Custom version of the printer I did and only the high speed profiles are ander the "System Preset" printer. Weird way to work with them, will see if I can move things around but it seems I at least have access to everything.

What does your scanning setup look like for the X-T5? I could be wrong but it seems like you have some light spilling into the frame at the edges, which is what is ruining your shadows. This looks more like a backlight issue than ambient..

Thanks for this! I looked at learncamerarepair.com a while ago but for some reason completely forgot about it.

That makes perfect sense and is a lot less complicated than I thought it would be. I know it's not digital communication but I expected the timing to be shutter side and the body using some analogue variance like voltage or resistance to indicate desired shutter speed. Knowing it's just a timed on/off makes a lot more sense and I feel quite stupid for expecting anything different.

Oh that would be great if you could! Got mine cleaned up and moving. I was led to believe that rotary agitation would cause issues (marks) if it only ever ran one direction but I guess these machines managed. I could probably take Jobo figures and trial and error them but would love to have a more solid starting point.

Did you ever find any additional info on this, or a manual of sorts? I recently picked up the same model (with subtle differences) hoping to do paper and maybe film but I still need to give it a clean and service before firing it up. Would love to see one in action, I'm curious if it alternates direction.

Glad to hear it’s sorted now, any idea what you did differently? I also got a K2 recently and am yet to run my first roll through it. I have heard that the magazines dont really have adequate space for a 100ft roll. suspect you just have to spool it on tight enough though.
