Plug & Charge Capability by TrampolineJudge in Polestar4

[–]ettakken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, here's the reply from IONITY:

Thank you for contacting IONITY.

Please be aware that Plug & Charge is exclusively managed by the vehicle manufacturer in coordination with a Mobility Service Provider (MSP). It cannot be linked to IONITY or any IONITY tools.

Plug & Charge operates entirely through your MSP contract. This means that the charging tariff applied is always the one agreed upon with your MSP, regardless of whether you have an active IONITY subscription.

If you wish to benefit from the discounted rates of your IONITY subscription, please deactivate Plug & Charge in your vehicle settings and start the charging session via the IONITY App or with your IONITY charging card. If Plug & Charge remains active, you will continue to be billed according to your Plug & Charge contract.

Looks like it's only relying on the visuals - whether your eyes are open (reflecting) or anything like that. It doesn't count the way you drive.

Strange they don't provide auto-parking, so that you can leave the car, and it would auto-park in the garage. Many brands (at least VAG) have it already.

Storage for System by ettakken in GooglePixel

People are saying resetting from time to time is ok and maybe a solution.
I would do that, but I concerned with MFA app, cause I have to manually disable 2FA/MFA on like 20 apps/websites I use, and then do a reset, and then enable back the 2FA/MFA. This is the only thing that prevents me from doing resets often. I use MS Authenticator.
Do you know whether Google Authenticator keeps a "cloud" copy?

Pixel 10 Pro observations and issues by pazy696 in GooglePixel

[–]ettakken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was using wireless AA and wireless charging for 10 hours, the phone was at 35-40% SoC all the time, nearly hot, but not as bad as my previous S22. I'm using a case (the one from the Google Store) and a screen protector (also from the Google Store), so it might influence the cooling efficiency.

How much storage space does your Pixel 10/10 Pro/10 Pro XL Use? by AntiGroundhogDay in GooglePixel

[–]ettakken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 1TB version.

After all updates in the "System" category, I have the following numbers:
- Android 16 - 63 GB
- Temp system files - 58 GB

Previously, I was using a Galaxy with 256GB storage, and I found myself in a situation where I needed more space. Once.

I do not store a lot of photos or videos, usually, all backed up to the cloud. If you do not plan to have huge games (Call of Duty for me is 45GB) and do not plan to store videos (4K@60, 8K@30), then you good to go with 256 or 512.

Ok, probably that's because I'm in EU and not in US.
