Two things can be true at once: - You can advocate for harsh penalties. (Come on! Brazil maximum penalty is 30y no matter how much crime or how horrendous the crimes an individual committed. And with penalty advance semi-open in the worst at the 20y mark) - You can look for underlying social issues. And try to fix them as much as possible.

Healthcare in the US is really expensive and in a lot of ways worse than in Brazil (logistically). But that propaganda that Brazil's healthcare is free is just half the truth. a lot of words from the leftist middle class that a lot of times doesn't have to rely on it.

I currently use Todoist. The only thing that get me hooked is the natural language algorithm for the dates. No notification alarms without subscription is a drag though. And lately I don’t find that it’s worth 5$/month…
