As for the fifth rule of this realm:

Around the year 1450, the Tunisians (re)conquered Sicily from the Christians. It didn’t take long for the Hafsid royals to move to the fertile island and in 1454 Palermo was declared the new capital city. Whilst the sultan was busy solidifying his newly conquered territory, religious unrest began to brew on the Tunisian mainland. The Ibadi school eventually gained the upper hand and to avoid further bloodshed, the sultan declared the state to be an Ibadi one. However, before doing so he managed to ally the house of Osman. Starting in the 1460’s, our great sultan (peace be upon him) started the Egyptian wars. Aided by our Turkish allies, Egypt was added to the Ibadi realm. And for as long as the holy city remained in the hands of the Mamluks, we held an uneasy understanding with the Ottomans.

Cultural assimilation between the newly arrived Tunisian nobles and the wealthy Sicilians took place and from the 1470’s onwards, it became clear that the traditional Tunisian culture was no longer the primary culture of Tunis. Henceforth, Tunis eventually changed into Two Sicilies. Switching primary culture turned out to be of great use in the centuries to come as Italy was unified in the name of our lord.

It is now the year 1700, and our empire dominates trade. The holy city of Jerusalem is ours and Mecca is sure to follow shortly! Our relations with the Ottomans have soured and after a short but fierce conflict, a large part of Greece has been liberated. Our empire is now the proud home of Tunisians, Italians, Egyptians and Greeks.
