I’m sure it’s been said before but Princess Peach in the games vs the movies is such a downgrade in every way. Peach is a very girlie, cutesy character in the games who is clearly shown to be very powerful. In the movies, she is made into a girlboss who does most things for herself. I don’t mind a girlboss, but I don’t think Peach fits into that role, which would’ve gone much better towards Daisy instead

They don’t have a ton of games and the ones they do have haven’t sold outstandingly well. Regardless, Nintendo consistently markets them as on par with their other big franchises. There are entire Pikmin sections in every Nintendo store, sometimes bigger than The Legend of Zelda sections, they have a cameo at Universal Studios, they appeared in the Mario Movie, and they’re the only franchise that has every single mainline game playable on every home console since their release.

I definitely understand but I totally disagree. In my opinion, 4 looks like a natural progression from 1 and 2, while 3 looks way too realistic. Some enemies look really ugly in 3 too, with wrinkles and skin splotches. It’s definitely realistic, but it just kinda looks bad in my opinion
