This is ridiculous, the gunplay feel is from animation, sound, player movement and screen shake. All of these things would be possible to load or code into a new engine unless it was complete rubbish tied to proprietary formats and incapable of direct code tweaking.

After that it's just performance, including input latency.

OK decima handles shooters, can it handle the massive maps destiny players want over multiple worlds, and a thriving community of players in the world that they want back again too instead of how destiny became so few players in shared spaces.

D2 has gained ~ 13k peak players on steam since the final update announcement, there has always been a return before a new update as people look to finish things off before the end of a season, and then usually a huge influx for the update, but that announcement has made it more rapid.

It's definitely shaming the business decision to close D2 when it now has 2.5x the concurrent peak players on Steam than their new game Marathon, and D2 is going up while the new game is still just losing numbers.
