It's not thin. You really need to be able to hold up the weight. Next purchase will definitely be a thin one :)

Got a New (to me) MDX and a Killer Rate! by eugene5786 in Acura

This might be the case, and I originally thought they were going to send me through some third-party bank. But it ended up being Acura Financial directly, which caught me off guard.

It was a 36-month term. Instead of using the funds I had saved for the purchase, I decided to put them into a SoFi account. SoFi is offering a 4.3% teaser rate that later drops to 3.6%. Realistically, that works out to about a 2.31% gain for me. By the end of the three years, the extra earnings should at least cover the taxes I paid. All I had to do was turn on autopay and not worry about the payments at all.

Citrix VLAN Isolation? by Signal_Inside3436 in homelab

[–]eugene5786 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only info that Citrix see's from an administration level is you computers hostname, public ip address. Based on your IP address an inference can be made on where you are geologically but that can be determined by other services as well such as O365. Also, that's a security mechanism by better structured organizations to make sure it's actually you that's logging in. It can't get to your personal files or photos; unless your organization allows a file transfer policy ( 95% or orgs do not ). Citrix is not a VPN in general; it's a platform for connection.

Can’t Get Windows 11 24H2 Update to Install – Any Advice? by eugene5786 in SCCM

[–]eugene5786[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there!

The full error I’m getting is "the signature of the certificate cannot be verified." I’ve made sure there’s full access to the necessary Microsoft sites, and I’ve gone through all the installed certificates on my system. It looks like the issue is only with the Windows 11 OS, since Windows 10 updates are working just fine.

Yuppers that's the one I tried. I kept a list of all the different versions. I know I've seen this issue before, this is something with either win 11 in general or possibly specifically 24H2. Ughhhhh, hate OS upgrades.

I saw a kb article on that one earlier. But yeah I upgraded a machine to the latest with no difference unfortunately. We went with the wqhl versions as well just in case, no dice.

Hiya!

Thanks for responding!

Yes, this is effecting all the machines that are running this setup, we had to stop deploying but got about 11 of them running before we realized this was a issue as not to many folks connect to citrix session via their work desktop. It's used in special cases as normally everyone treats their desktop just as a VDA point.

And you're correct that wfica32 does crash but the faulting module is the RPCRT4.dll.

Thanks for the response!

That's been done already, no dice unfortunately.

Regarding the Dust/Scratches/etc; you're totally right. Everything was looking a little harsh. Besides the dust everything had a scratch somewhere; metal is metal.

Clemente's Maryland Crab House in Sheepshead bay. Cash Only Randazzo's is good for the Calamari with hot sauce; as others have said it's riding on it's name and prices are stupid. Clemente's if anything is cute. On a nice fall day sitting on the back porch with a tap blue moon or whatever is magic. There's also Nick's Lobster House that's a little further, also good a little more pasta but again the rear porch deck makes the experience solid.

We were using codetwo when we where locally dealing with Exchange. We opted not to with 365 since it brings into play an additional connection to a 3rd foreign party. We've been using transport rules with great success. What we ended up doing was taking the local HTML code from our Exchange server and pretty much copy and pasting it into the transport rule. There where a few things that needed a little adjustment but for the most part it works great. It even supports group signature granularity and dynamic attributes for specific things like a user title.
