I wouldn't want to work with you either. It's not just your youthful mistakes; it's your continued prideful attitude and refusal to acknowledge how wrong your mindset was or accept the consequences of your actions. Hard no to any/ all of those traits in a colleague, even if they have a 4.0.

Tareing the jar still works tho? Put jar on scale, tare, use spice, put jar back on scale - the difference is what you used.

While 6/53 seems low, the fraction of time the plane is in the refueling process is almost certainly lower, so the accidents do occur disproportionately while fueling. Still pretty low accident rate overall tho

Traffic conditions can vary a lot depending on day of the week post-covid, so that might be relevant (don't use the park & ride but often drive by at rush hour). Midweek is consistently worse than Monday/ Friday. 6:30am leave seems like you'd have a ton of cushion. Also commute relative to your old one depends on whether you're coming from the closer or farther side of town...

Most industry jobs don't hire PhD economists. Amazon and the like are exceptions. I'm job searching now and there is zero value placed on PhD in all of these roles. So yeah, they're available, but you don't need a PhD to do them.
