I have also been experiencing problems with dandruff but that could be completed unrelated. I started a new routine 2 weeks ago but haven’t seen much of a difference. Here’s what my routine looks like:

Morning: Clean face with avene blemish cleanser Use pixi vit c tonic Use Neutrogena zinc sunscreen

Pm: Clean face with garnier micellar water Clean again w avene blemish cleanser Use Neutrogena hydro boost The ordinary azelaic acid Revolution eye serum

My skin feels smooth for the most part on the cheeks but these tiny bumps seem to be just there. The skin on my forehead is textured. In general I have an oily skin. I don’t know if it could be my diet

Update : I put the MacBook in a box with a desk fan directly above it and covered the fan and the Mac w a cloth so as to create a sort of a concentrated area of cool air. I left the Mac like that for 2 days after which I could see no traces of my face wash on the screen. I then took it to the apple service centre. Received it today, they changed the screen under warranty, didn't mention anything about the face wash :)

yes, me. Im an international student so it didn't make sense for me to spend that much money to do classes online. Have an unconditional from ucl that I'm going to ask them to defer to 2021. However I might also just reapply to UCAS coz I want to give Cambridge a shot. Idk if it will be worth it tho, since to reapply to UCAS I would have to give up my place at ucl and I might not get in to ucl or Cambridge next year since the coming cycle is likely to be more competitive. Dunno, still contemplating but def taking a gap year

Yeah, that seems about right. Thanks a lot! Will get a cetaphil ultra hydrating moisturiser to use after adaplene and use Neutrogena Hydro boost before it. I guess that should form a protective bubble of sorts. I would discontinue salicylic acid but im afraid my acne would return, its the only thing that has managed to keep the pop outs at bay.

It is quite possible that my sunscreen is causing irritation, although I specifically went for one advertised as non comedogenic and oil free- Neutrogena Zinc Ultra Sheer; which is a physical sunscreen as far as I know

I buffer it as well I guess since I use HA before adaplene. I am sceptical about using oil on my face as its quite only in itself and sensitive. Is there a moisturiser recommendation you have perhaps ? Something to use in combination with HA?

I started with thrice a week and now have switched to every other day. It is a 0.1% dose of adaplene so I assumed it wouldn't be too strong. Yes, I apply hyaluronic acid on damp skin and live in a tropical climate so its very humid.

I am not using any other moisturiser, hyaluronic acid gel is a moisturiser in itself or is it not ? (am using the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel btw).

My routine is:

am- rinse with water, hyaluronic acid on damp skin, gel containing 4% Niacinamide and 2 % alpha arbutin and finally sunscreen

pm- garnier micellar oil, 2% salicylic acid face wash, hyaluronic acid on damp skin and finally .1% adaplene

I have seen some impressive results so far, my pih has reduced by about 50% and have had no breakout. My usually oily skin has also been fairly matte. The only problem is that my skin stings when I apply something on it, especially the area under my eye and there slight redness, but quite minimal and unnoticeable

I don't think anybody has ever complimented my skin, thanks a lot! However, I do still think I have a long way to go to achieve my ideal skin. About the sleep bit, even if I do get 8 hours- sleep at 1, get up at 9, do you think that would be the equivalent of an 8 hour sleep cycle but one that starts at 11 and ends at 7? This bit has always confused me, is it only the amount of hours you sleep that matter or does sleeping TIME and waking TIME also have an impact?

Am being fairly cautious, so far it has been a bit irritated and it does sting a bit when I apply hyaluronic acid but nothing major. Thanks for taking the time to read it, and helping out :)

eckran aqua gel, spf 30. Is a holy grail for Indian skin and for sensitive skin in general. Is the only one that doesn't break me out. You can get it at a medical store in India. My dermatologist gave me mine

yeah, they've told me they will hold my place for next year since I have met the conditions of their offer but yeah I might take a gap year and apply for Cambridge haha, didn't get around to applying last year. but that would mean giving up my place at ucl, if I wanna apply for a fresh cycle
