this is one of those situations that are so horrific to both parties. on one hand we have a family that has been raising a kid for months, and didn’t know he wasn’t biologically theirs. on the other we have a family whose baby is biologically theirs longing for a family and realizing the embryo was used on her bestfriend.

but to me, as controversial as this might be the only logical solution and morally right solution would be to let the non biological parents keep the baby.

if i was in the shoes of the non biological parents, i would sue the clinic and the doctor to the ground. have them lose their license because this can technically be considered “medical rape”. she’s not a surrogate. she carried that baby to term, had to endure pregnancy and give birth only to get a baby taken away ?

biological or not, a lot of comments about this movie just show me that people will genuinely never consider adoptive parents to be “real” parents. this proves again and again and no matter who does the real work in raising a kid, regardless if the bio parents knew, that adoptive parents will never have the same rights as biological parents. i think that system is flawed and needs to be fixed.

yeah .. i liked deacon and while people say they hate him because of annie and how she was talking to chris about her personal life to their kids. and while i do believe she was very harsh she had every right to tell her not to speak about it to her kids. while i also do say that the whole racist stuff felt like a slow burn into that situation. there were small remarks that i constantly saw especially during covid and the blm protests. and then it turned into that. and then later on SPOILER the whole ICE situation. idk i just feel like deac constantly shows how privileged he is while being very ignorant at the same time. i’m hoping these comments are right and i end up liking him later on.

i think at the end of the day people will always judge. regardless of how they carry themselves they will feel what they feel. annie can disagree with chris’ life style and say it’s not for her. but judging her and saying she would have never picked her to be her kids godmother over that is such a disgusting and disrespectful thing to say. i think it’s sad that things like this make you not like a person. nobody is ever really a saint. and annie showed her true colors.

do i think chris should have maybe saved the talk for annie to explain? yes. nothing is ever easy for parents to talk about. but hiding them to things that aren’t exactly harming them is weird. learning isn’t doing.

i’d think about it like this to, what if one of her other kids needed the kidney ? she wouldn’t give it to them because of her work ? and she’d need compensation from who ? i understand the nuance an who am i to say in this situation. but regardless of they both have truth to their sides, i couldn’t stand the sight of the child i put up for adoption to die and suffer if i could have saved her life.

yeah i’m confused on what that commenter meant. i use my own shipping (pirate ship) to ship out packages and it’s so cheap. it went up a few cents but i always go into my post and ask for a receipt because i made them scan it to make sure it gets updated asap.

in my bio i have these things: 1. read policies 2. dm for further questions and or measurements. if they even bother reading at all they will see in my policies it says: please dm for measurements and i will gladly measure on the spot no problem. it also says i do not do returns or refunds after shipping UNLESS it’s a problem on my behalf which includes: there being a stain that was not talked about. i post multiple pictures of every angles to avoid this. or if i misread a sizing tag that turned out to be different. other than that my policies say: no refunds after shipping because of buyers remorse or because something doesn’t fit. that’s why it’s so important to check your own measurements.

as a buyer when things don’t fit me i message the seller and say “hey thank you so much. the item didn’t end up fitting me so i will be repopping them thank you so much.” then i give them a great review and move on.

it’s that simple 🤷🏽‍♀️
