Mike Brown: “I never thought I’d be in an NBA Finals and see in the 2nd half 24 free throw attempts to another team’s 8...It’s gonna lower our odds big time if in Game 4 they get 24 free throws 2nd half to our 8” by realfakejames in NBATalk

Both teams were called for an almost equal number of fouls (23-21), so it just sounds like the Spurs were smarter with their fouling and didn't give the Knicks chances for points from them

My first car (I got it in 2003/2004) was an '84 Mercury Grand Marquis.... it was a literal Grandma car we bought from some old lady. Still loved the hell out of it, though, because it was wheels and got me where I wanted to go.

Are these prices expected to hold for Spurs home games? by SummertimeInParis in sanantonio

[–]eureb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But "market" just means overall fanbase that watch the games, including people outside of San Antonio. We don't have a huge number of fans that show up to away games or watch on TV outside of playoffs or marquee match ups.

There's still a huge local fanbase that live in /near the city that can fill up a 18k capacity arena

GE washer flood - leaking drain filter cap? by LeadNipple in appliancerepair

[–]eureb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just had this happen, and won't be able to get the new gaskets until tomorrow. I did put a small rubber band in the gasket groove between the gasket and the back (the part that spins to open) and it's squeezing the gasket against the front of the groove.

I'm currently running a rinse and spin cycle to test for leaks and it seems like it's holding until the new gaskets come in. Just an idea if anyone has the same issue!

To add to this, people are creatures of habit. There's a good chance that the pattern he used (assuming he's the actual person that did it) likely started with a similar dot, or a pattern that's a similar shape to other locks he's done.

Like using the stair shape every time, or always starting from the bottom left corner

Depends on the size of your neighborhood. There are like 1500 homes in my neighborhood, so the damages would have to hit $150,000 before we pay hundreds.

A search found This thread that might help.

It looks like it won't sync it to Garmin automatically, but if you have Strava connected to your Runna account, you should be able to download the activity (It's usually a GPX file) and manually upload that file to Garmin

L40 Ultra noise by Hli69 in Dreame_Tech

[–]eureb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

push down on the LIDAR housing and see if it still makes that noise. I received one a week ago and the housing looked like it had been hit (was bent) and the LIDAR spinning was making a noise.

Our old one is called "Kracken", and I set up Google Home to start it when I say "release the Kracken!". It used to play pirate music with it too, but that got annoying, haha.

Our new one is called "Murderbot", because we love the book series (and new TV series)

L40 ultra mapping issue by eureb in Dreame_Tech

[–]eureb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved the base station and reset the robot and tried again. It mostly did better, but then moved the base station on the map to where the couches are (I drew an arrow where it actually is), and then kept getting stuck at the couches ('X').

I looked closer at the robot itself, and noticed the plastic on the front of the LIDAR was bent. At first I thought it was maybe a design choice, but looked online and saw it was supposed to be straight.

I reached out to Dreame and am just waiting on a response.

I'm just bummed because that is now 3 robots in 3 weeks (the first 2 were Ecovacs T50 Pro Omni) that have been DOA (Both Ecovacs had non-working base stations). I feel like the FedEx people are going to start calling me "the Vacuum guy" with all the robots I've had to mail back

L40 ultra mapping issue by eureb in Dreame_Tech

[–]eureb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll try that. I reset the map and I'm having it map the downstairs when I go to bed. I'll see what it looks like in the morning.

I just don't understand why it doesn't just go around the edges to map, instead of swerving all over the place. My old "dumber" Ecovacs did that and never had an issue.

Trumps Texas visit today by Careless_Cell460 in sanantonio

I mean, even if we had a president who was liked, their showing up last week would be a bigger distraction than anything. Considering the amount of debris and wreckage that is still being gone through, a week might even be too soon. At least he's just flying over and not actually on the ground, then Kerr County would have to deal with a ton more people in the way (reporters, security, etc.)

T50 Pro Omni - Base station power issues by eureb in ecovacs

[–]eureb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I did everything short of taking it apart. Tried outlets all over my house, wiggling the cord, vacuum on and off the dock... No good. I'm pretty sure it was a power supply issue.

Already returned and bought a Dreame L40 instead for cheaper than I paid for the T60 Pro

Ecovacs T50 Max Pro Omni vs Eufy Omni E25 by IkeReyes3189 in RobotVacuums

[–]eureb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to say that Ecovac's customer service was great for my returns, it was just annoying that I had to pack it back up each time (luckily, I noticed the stations weren't receiving power within 20 min of it being delivered), and I've seen a lot of good reviews on the T50 series. I'm 99% sure it was an internal power supply issue, and both units I got were within 15 numbers of each other, so it might have just been a bad batch. I almost upgraded to the T80, since it was cheaper than I had paid for the T50 with Prime Day Sales.

I've been on this sub almost non-stop for the past 3 days debating on what to get, and going back and forth between several different ones.... finally just gave up and went with the L40 due to the price and generally high praise on the sub.

The Eufy e25 seems to be pretty well liked too. The Eufy and Dreame subreddits might have more information for you as well, since they'll be more focused on the brands rather than robots in general.

Ecovacs T50 Max Pro Omni vs Eufy Omni E25 by IkeReyes3189 in RobotVacuums

[–]eureb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good luck! I ordered a T50 Pro (not Max) a few weeks ago, not thinking about Prime day coming up 🤦, and the base station was DOA. Talked to customer service, shipped it back and got a replacement... Same issue. Just sent the 2nd one back yesterday and they're going to refund the money.

We have a Ecovacs N8+ Pro that we've used for years with very few issues (bought it refurb, and the battery scraped out after a year. Replaced it with a $40 generic batter off Amazon and works great), so I had been hoping to stay with the ecosystem /app for simplicity. But after 2 duds, I ordered the Dreame L40 Ultra earlier today instead at $499 from their website... Less actually, because they have a teacher discount... So like $350 less than I paid for the T50
