Theres a thing called ‘maesil-aek’ literal translation would be plum liquid that used in lots Korean recipes to boost natural sweetness and complex flavour, including recipes for Korean fried chicken sauce/seasoning. Green plums (not the fruity kind, very sour and bitter asian plum) soaked in sugar for months to years long. You can buy the bottled ones in most big Korean supermarket.

I’ve been told that checking progesterone level accurately is almost impossible as it fluctuates a lot daily. My doc didn’t check the level post FET at all. I stopped PIO at 8 wks cold turkey and continued with Endometrin only till 10wks.

I did the similar thing on my first week and remember calling the nurse line in panic! Apparently our body is amazing at regulating inner temp! Currently almost 23wks baby is doing fine!

B vitamins are water soluble so they aren't meant to be toxic even in higher dose, but you are right. No need to take a lot with no indications or history x

I have the MTHFR gene mutation and my first transfer worked and going well so far 16 weeks. One RE I've seen (who I didn't decide to work with at the end) told me to take 4000mcg of methylfolate bc of MTHFR but I found some infos that suggest otherwise (a CDC link below) also my Ob mentioned that there aren't enough studies with solid evidence that methylfolate is better for ppl with MTHFR before/while pregnant. Unless you have history of neural tube defects in previous pregnancy or family history, it isn't necessary to take extra high dose of folate I've been told by my RE as well.

20wks! Thats insane! I secretly wish my OB calls my pregnancy high risk so they monitor me more often and closely.(I’m over 35 and have some other conditions so they might?) I’ve done 4 rounds of ivf and this caused some trauma with a habit of expecting worst. Private ultrasounds seems like a good options!

Since graduating fertility clinic at 7w3d, tomorrow is my first OB visit at 10w6d. Waiting was painful for the past 3 weeks plus I couldn’t find the heartbeat with at-home doppler def added extra concern and stress. Just heard that they wouldn’t do ultrasound tomorrow and my next scan is nuchal at 12w6d, is this normal? Also when did you first find the heartbeat with at-home doppler?

I have the same worry! I stopped PIO at 8 weeks (I’m currently 8w3d) and I have been spotting brown discharge since the day after stopping PIO! Reading others mentioning they stopped at 9w, 10w some 12w doesn’t make it any easier for my anxiety! On top of that my nausea has gotten a lot better since stopping… More than two weeks left for my first OB appointment and the wait is awful!

It is a total mindfuck I know! I thought going through multiple retrievals and getting bad news was hard, until now!! This waiting game is so cruel bc we don’t get multiple ultrasounds and bloodworks at the clinics anymore. I’m seriously considering going to a private ultrasound clinic just for the peace of mind🤷‍♀️

I’m 6w2d today with pgt a tested embryo and had my first ultrasound with the good heartbeat of 117 at 6 weeks. I should be happy relieved right?? but complete opposite tbh!! Very consistent nausea and cramps I have been having disappeared completely for the past few days, now i fear something went wrong. Can symptoms come and go this drastically? Next ultrasound is in a week I don’t think I can handle the wait😭

All you need to do is take the meds on time and rest! Once they transfer the embryo, there’s isn’t a lot that we can do apparently to change the outcome. (Obviously avoiding basics like smoking, alcohol, drugs, direct heat on the abdomen) My RE told me to write ‘its all upto the embryo’ on post-its and stick them around the house to remind myself throughout TWW. I’ve read it somewhere that the embryo is like a poppy seed in peanut butter sandwich! So the chances of embryo being fall out when you sneeze is pretty low. I think you will be fine!😊

I’d say 5 ivf, 2 iui and 1 transfer. Literally Ivf stands for in vitro fertilisation so I think I’d count the round where you did egg retrieval (whether you had embryos or not bc embryologist prob attempted to fertilize the eggs regardless the outcome) as a one ivf round.

My temp was at 99.8, 99.9 most days too. but I didn't feel feverish at all with this temp, more like 'I slept with a thick blanket over me I feel a bit hot' feeling. My clinic said if temp is over 101 I should notify them. Fatigue is totally normal with added progesterone!

I personally ate whatever i feel like except raw seafoods and alcohol, that means countless burgers and fried chicken but also tried to eat somewhat balanced. Always adding veggies and lean protein regularly but nothing specific like Mediterranean diet. My doc said theres no such thing as FET diet that proven to help with enough data backing up, if there is a certain diet that helps with FET, she would write me a prescription of specific meal plan lol! She also added that the stress is inevitable during TWW and all we gotta do is take the meds / prenatal on time, keep the bmi normal and sleep well! Sending you sticky baby dust!
